A little info about Our Daily Bread designs!

I thought I would give you some history about ODBD (Our Daily Bread designs). I started the company in January 2008 and the first set, Light of the World, began selling on our website on March 17, 2008.

I had recently resigned from my job (my local elementary school office) and my husband, Rick, suggested I start a business doing what I love to do--stamping! We had found it very frustrating not being able to find many stamps that were Christian-based. I truly believe that God put the whole idea for ODBD into my head and gave me the encouragement and determination to get going!

Not knowing ANYTHING about the manufacturing of rubber stamps was a little intimidating at first but I just kept going and soon enough I had my website up and my first stamp set ready for sale.

I had decided when I first began this endeavor to try and stay exclusive to Christian stamps, whether it be scripture verses or Christian-based sentiments. Most of the stamps are sold in sets, have a main image and 2-4 scripture verses that pertain to the image. Sometimes there is a general sentiment that fits in with the theme also.

Another area where I am generously blessed is with the girls on my Design Team. I have made so many new and wonderful friendships with these ladies over the past (almost) 2 years! The Design Team is affectionately called the "Breadsticks", who almost daily supply ODBD with the new gorgeous and outstanding card creations!

You can easily find many of the DT (Design Team) cards either on SCS by searching "Our Daily Bread" or "ODBD". The DT also posts with "ODBDDT".

Many customers also post to the SCS gallery! We are so very pleased when our customers share their cards with the SCS community! It is just another way to reach others about the word of the Lord!

Our Card Gallery is a great way to see different cards made from both DT members and customers. We have close to 5000 cards on the gallery. You can click on the Stamp Set category and view all the cards for that particular set. It not only can inspire you and give you some new ideas for card designs but it can also be a very soothing, inspirational visit as well! I encourage you to register on the site and to upload your cards to share with us all!!!

I really like the stamps you produce, but wonder if you ever include scriptures in just KJV (not NKJV). I really love the old KJV version, but it's hard to find verses using that version with the exception of one other company that produces ONLY KJV. Thanks!
