oddly, she probably would understand.

there was a promo for a news story about packages being stolen in the mail. OMG, they need to have the death sentence or life without parole for people messing with our stamps.

The pinwheels are so fun! I was only going to do the big one, but Leigh and Amy told me I needed small ones. They are such good wheedlers, I folded. So now you not only get the big one, but a small one, too.

Hi Lori....Good idea. You're in MD too, right? We have "everyday math" and it's impossible for us old folks to learn and the kids don't understand the old ways either.

Hi, Joanne! You're right--kindergarten's not fun and games anymore. There's a lot of hard work going on in the classrooms these days. It is amazing how much kids grow and change during their kindergarten year. That was one of the reasons I loved teaching K.

Yes, in Montgomery County. Everyday Math's a tricky animal because of how it's set up. The spiral thing's hard for kids that don't get the concepts right away. Our school system wrote its own curriculum that's been bought by Pearson and will soon be sold nationwide (I worked on it for a few years--my small claim to educational fame, I guess).

Okay...I have another peek project to share...it's to-DIE-for...seriously, almost all DIES!

I use the new EASY ROSETTE and the HOME TWEET HOME set plus the Pennant dies and the Big Scallop! And then a teensy bit of stamping with a sentiment from the brand new SIMPLY SAID sentiment set.

So cute, Leigh. Lots of sparkley goodness.
