That's the truth! We've got 4 weeks until the next vacation and it'll seem really long since we had a lot of days off in November between two Superstorm Sandy emergency days, Election Day, and Thanksgiving. I'm already looking forward to my stay-cation over the winter holidays. I'll be hanging with Chloe the cutie puppy and a puppy friend of hers who is staying with us while her family is away.

LOL, I remember wandering into the teacher's lounge the first day back, everyone gathering around the calendar - seeing when the next day off was...
Now that I think of it, that was the first time I heard the word 'stay-cation' as well!! LOL!!
Hanging with pups sounds like an awesome time to me!!

Gorgeous! How did you get it to be all sparkly like that? What technique did you use?

That snowflake topper is going to be a must have. I plan on using it for a couple of page edges in my December Daily this year.
Alma you never dissapoint me with your snowflake offerings!

Thanks guys!! I "painted" the whole circle with Diamond Glaze and then sprinkled on the glitter, it's really sparkly!

Ooh....so simple but such a beautiful effect! Would love to see it or your pink Sprinkle card in person to study your technique more closely,

You can also run it upside down through a Xyron machine, coating the entire image panel with adhesive and then sprinkling glitter over the whole thing and returning the excess to the container. I do it that way. I am not talented enough to get an even layer of adhesive any other way...

The only all-over glitter I've done is by covering the entire image in versamark and embossing with glittery embossing powder, like SU's iridescent ice.

LOL, me too but most of it gets back into the container so it lasts longer than you'd expect.

I did think of that but I only have the little X Xyron and it wouldn't fit! I improvised!

They are awesome! I love that they can be made as long as we need it to be. Appeals to both card makers and scrappers alike!
