Thankyou! I am actually kinda bummed that we had ham instead of turkey....it just ain't right But who's complaining when they don't have to make it, right?? I did make a wicked awesome Pumpkin cream cheese trifle off the top of my head!! No recipe! So I am feelin' pretty full of myself right now!

It was really good!!! Some old guy from my uncles side came up to me and told me it had the potential to be award-winning and I should submit it for publication!!! It helps that my aunt makes wedding cakes and I stole all the frozen trimmings from her cakes out of her freezer

You may think I'm joking, Jenny, but I'm not. I'm a terrible cook and/or baker. And, it doesn't help that I have a super nosy puppy who loves to "counter surf" and check out what's going on above her head. I need to be quick to keep my food away from her!
I accidentally BURNT them last year - I was SO ANGRY at myself Julie!

We have a new little market in my town run by some "Brethren" folks (think Amish, Mennonite, etc.). They have all kinds of neatly packaged bulk items and pumpkin seeds are one of them!! I had to try them out earlier in the summer - yum!!

Ha! I was picturing her up on the counters and thought maybe she was part cat. Mine are always "helping"

I have tons of cooking experience, but thats not to say there haven't been some bad meals But I have been cooking for my parents and their hired men since I was like, 11 or 12...during harvest it was either cook or drive the baler and it always caught fire, so I opted for the cooking! A pan of burning food is easier to deal with then a huge piece of farm machinery in the middle of a highly flammable feild!!
