Joan, I'll be happy to send snow your way. My brother, his wife and my dad are on their way to MN for the Easter weekend. My brother's daughters and their families live in Northfield. Never give up on a miracle. God knows what He has in store for your DS. Sometimes it would be nice if He would let us in the know.
Wishing everyone a blessed good friday!! Hugs to you all - and prayers for everyone's situations and knowing that Christ came to die on the cross for me is humbling he loves you me and everyone!! Miracles happen and have had this stirring that tells me there will be miracles - more of them happening. He knows the plans he has for you plans to prosper you and not to harm you!
I don't see snow yet. Maybe the forecast was wrong. The wind isn't even blowing. Maybe the storm is just waiting for me to finish my errands so I can hole up in my room and stamp.

We didn't get the big storm we were supposed to get today. It has been raining/snowing all day. Giving the ground a real good soaking. We need it desperately.
I am so glad I will be done with the tax season next week. Actually, I was supposed to be done today, but had a couple problems. First, I get a call at 10:15 this morning letting me know I had a 10am appointment. No one told me about it, so the gal rescheduled for Monday morining. When I got to cu for my 11:00 I was informed I also have a 2:00. Not a problem there. I knew my 11:00 was going to take some extra time. Ran into a problem with his return and now have to wait until Monday to get it resolved. Now I have 2 problems to clear up and one return to do on Monday. If I'm lucky (not going to hold my breath), I'll be done by noon. The problems were with employers and not me, for a change. These challenges make for an interesting tax season. Each year I get something new. Wonder what will go wrong next year. I have to look at it from a learning standpoint. If I run across the same problems in the future, I should be able to take care of it without too much drama.
Sher has been calling me almost every day. She's getting excited about moving next weekend. So is the oldest Bailey. If Sheri's nervous about her surgery, she isn't letting on. Actually, she sounds pretty chipper. That makes me feel better. She is such a strong woman. I am so grateful God is looking after her.
Time to clean off my desk so I can do some cardmaking. I'm so far behind on birhtday cards this month so it looks like I'll be making some belated ones.
Debbie- So happy that Sheri has a good attitude that will help with the recovery. Tomorrow is supposed to be windy and rainy. DH is working outdoors... Yuck!
I am asking for prayers for my niece and her boy friend. They were in a bad car accident. The car was totaled. The police were surprised that they walked away. She is hospitalized with neck injuries, a concussion many cuts and bruises. The air bag didn't open because the car was rear ended. Her BF went home but has many cuts and bruises. They had pulled over to let an ambulance and fire truck pass. The 83 yr old man behind them didn't. he slammed into them at 50 mph. He needs to go to the dr and see if he is able to keep his license and given a ticket. He had bruises to his hands because his air bag deployed. She just started a new job, and has no medical coverage. She has been a thorn in my sister's side and is just beginning to get her life together.
I am so sorry about your niece, prayers for you and your family today. Hugs, this has to be difficult so thankful everyone walked away though. Praise God. Thinking of you and sending cyber hugs
I know I haven't been here for a long while, but would you ladies PLEASE PRAY for Christine? She's losing her faith and struggling a lot. Doubting everything she believed in. I'm so heartbroken over this. I just keep lifting her up in prayer and believing that God will have her come back to Him soon. Please join me in prayer for sweet Christine!
Hugs,
Sue

Sue so very grateful you posted to let us know about Christine. The Lord has truly put on her my heart lately since we have not heard from her for so long. Also, noticed that Christine has not posted much on facebook. Asking, trusting and believing in God's loving sovereign care and protection over Christine as He showers down much mercy, grace, comfort, peace and encouragment.

Here is a church choir performance like you’ve never seen before. These two young men have such beautiful voices… and they’re totally hilarious. Watch as they sing the “Meow Song” in front of an audience and absolutely bring the house down!
Videos like this are a great reminder that church events need not be stuffy and dull. It never hurts to spice up a performance with a little humor… as long as it’s respectful, of course!
Sue, I had not been on in a few days - I will say a prayer for her this evening! I pray that she be protected by everything that is of God I command all that is not of God to leave her now. Only things of God are allowed - prayers for healing and comfort for her and thankful for the Christians that will stand in the gap with her and pray with her, thank you Jesus! So all that is not of God leave NOW - praise Jesus and I thank him for Christine and pray that where-ever she is right now she feels God's presence and love and knows he loves her and wants nothing more than to be close to her - during this season especially he gave his life for us - I pray that she is able to see that clearly now whatever is blocking that I pray for immediate removal, IJHN!
Hi Ladies, Happy Thursday so glad just one more day to the work week!! Next Saturday is the SBS that I am hosting and have 23 people attending I am excited but a little anxious as well! I have figured this all out I think - just have to finalize goodie bags.
I hope everyone had a good day today - I have been thinking of you all!
HUGS
I'm working a 6-day week this week. Not too bad since I'm only working 3 hrs everyday except for 5.5 hrs on Saturday. The only problem is I have no more projects to work on so it's been boring at the circulation desk when it's slow. I am working with a new girl so it won't be too bad unless we're so darn quiet like we've been lately.
Only 25 more days until I see my girls. Sheri is moving into her new apartment tomorrow. I hope everyone who offered to help her shows up.
I'm off to ride my exercise bike for a while, then maybe get some images ready to color. I'm real slow at gettng birthday cards out again this month.
Thanks, Joan. Sheri's a lot stronger than me. I love my exercise bike. It's a recumbent so it has a nice back rest. Vince added extra padding to the seat when we first got it so my butt doesn't get tired. I always grab a book when get on it so it's real easy to lose track of time. This morning I logged in 11 miles and tonight I logged in an extra 10 miles. That's a lot of pedaling, but I'm reading a good book. I don't feel guilty for sitting around reading for hours.
Thanks Debbie, prayers for you and your family and I am jealous about your weather!! Would love some rain and 52 degrees!! I bet your happy tax season is ending!! Sounds like you have had a lot going on!
DD had me out until 9:00 PM and wow it's hot and thankfully DH put on my A/C - puppy was glad when I got home cause my room is cool and his ears were literally blowing backward and looked at me like, mommy I like this room!! Just a little more training and he can sleep with me!!
Debbie- That is a lot of pedaling. Is the bike hard on the knees?
My mom has this little machine that she can sit in a regular chair and pedal it was kind of cool and it was easy on the knees and better on her back - I will ask her what it's called and it was inexpensive something they recommended at therapy and it was a good deal.
Ugh! Taxes! So grateful that Reynold does ours. It would be sooooo much easier just to have a flat tax instead of this complicated mess that even the IRS has trouble explaining when you call them. Reynold had a situation a few years ago so he called the IRS several times and got different answers every time.
