prayer is a powerful thing...and united prayer is awesome! this life is so hard and we need each other to help carry the load!

Sara is on the road to her court hearing tomorrow in Atlanta. Pray for favor in her case please! Also she said it is snowing and yukky driving, so safe journey for Sara we pray!

I will certainly pray for Sara and for wisdom for the court system.

Am praying for Sara & Jimmy's sfe traveling and that all goes well at the hearing tomorrow. Thank you for starting the new thread, will bookmark it.

Wow, uplifitng Sara and Jimmy during these days. I had texted Sara yesterday and she was telling me about the weather and the drive. Praying that the courts see the truth and that this will all work out for her. She has gone through so much praying for her.

Apparently, Sara and Jimmy and respective ex's settled out of court last minute with a settlement they can all live with and none got everything they wanted. I believe they can now just settle down and move forward. She will share I am sure when she can.

I am praying for the dear ones and their families.

I have a prayer request. My friend's father just passed away. He had cancer for about a year. She had come to terms with the possibility but her mother and brother had not.

Lord we just lift up these family members to you now and ask that you fill them with your grace, peace and forgiveness. We pray that you will send someone to give them spiritual comfort and guidance during this time of grief, and if they do not know you yet, that they will come to know you through the love of your people.

This is good news, concessions ALWAYS have to be given, like them or not! Let's hope that the children are put in 1st priority as they are always the ones lose the most in many situations.

Thanks for asking about Ed, Michele. It is a very slow process with the rash all over his body but he is seeing some relief. This has been going on well over a month now. We still don't know the exact cause except that it has been a major allergic reaction from meds the dr. suspects.

I wonder how many people actually take the time to realize what today really is? What is Good Friday? For some it is simply a day off of school or work. Only to prepare ourselves for the Easter bunnies basket of goodies on Sunday.

How many people don't take the time to think about the reality of what happened today? You know, to be completely honest prior to Cole getting sick I understood the history behind it all but I didn't understand the intimacy of today. The intimate relationship the happens because of what took place thousands of years ago. After I posted that message about the woman who came to Christ because of Cole and another child I realized that she wasn't the only one. For me personally, that is when I truly woke up to the world around me. Unfortunately that is what it took, my son on his death bed, struggling in pain for me to understand the reality of today!! As much as I try to type this example, it will never justify the feelings of knowing what extremes I would have gone for Cole. Truth is I would have given anything to see him be healed and not have to deal with that pain. However, the ultimate truth is God watched His Son get beaten.... and the most amazing thing is he could have choosen any means to make this happen but instead he choose his SON!!!! As much as I care for the rest of you, im sorry I could not have given up Cole. Finally it took me to finally get that picture of God's Love for me through my son. So may today not just be a day off of scool or possibly work, but may it be a day of rejoicing and celebration because we have a Father that Loves us SOOOOO MUCH that he ALLOWED the events of today to take place for you and I. THAT'S HOW MUCH YOU ARE LOVED. For the first Good Friday of my life am I able to truly feel loved! Don't let it take your child for you to feel loved!!

Picture God standing outside your door knocking.... with no knob on the outside...... There you are on the inside with your hand on the door knob and your eye looking through the little window (like at a hotel) and you see a little glimpse of him. He is standing there with his arms wide open," saying come unto me". It doesn't matter if you never knew him or maybe you have been going to church all of your life but he doesn't seem real to you. Today it is recorded all we have to do is open that door! All we have to do is come to him. It says if any man hear my voice I will come to him. Guess what if you just read this you heard is voice!!!! SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND!!!!!

Sara text me this morning around 420 AM and said they got a call that Jimmy's uncle was rushed to ER. She said it was his heart and he was bleeding internaly. She said they didnt know if they were going to air flight him to ATL or not. She wanted me to post so her SCS friends could start praying for Jimmy and his family. I have not heard anything else from her. I just text her a few mins ago. So maybe we will get an update soon.

I had heard from Sara from the way it sounds they are trying to keep his uncle comfortable until the end. Keeping them in prayer.

that is what she told me earlier today as well. So sad. I am praying for this family. Praying for all of you guys today. :)
