Hello SCS friends...Please find it in your heart to send an RAK to my great-niece, Madison. She is such a sick little girl and really needs all the support she can get. I know that beautifully made cards from the ladies (and guys) here on SCS would help cheer her up.

Hello my name is Madison Mincey I am 5 years old. I will be 6 May the 18th. I have Aplastic Anemia. And Aplastic Anemia is a disease of the bone marrow. The bone marrow stops making enough red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets for the body. I need all your prayers to get better. Aplastic Anemia is a rare disease. About 3 out of every 1 million people in the United States get Aplastic Anemia each year. Treatment is a bone marrow transplant but my sisters are not a match.
Please Pray for Madison and send her get well cards, let her see that she is being prayed for and thought of . May God bless you for helping with cards and prayers.

Madison had a bad week. The meds did not help like they had hoped they would. She had to have another blood transfusion. This is her 5th one and the meds can not be given to her again for another month. Please continue to keep Madison and her family in your prayers. Her family is really having a tough time trying to balance time spent with their other children and Madison at the hospital. Everyone is helping as much as possible but it is just tough to go back and forth. Thanks so much! Bless you!

Cindy, Just wanted to let you know that Madison continues to be in my thoughts and prayers! I'm praying for her family too while the try to balance their lives with a sick child and the others at home. I know from experience that it is very, very challenging to do! Here's hoping Madison has a better day today!
Thanks so much for the prayers and cards that you are sending to Madison. Cindy would thank you herself but she has been one sick little lady this week. I spoke to her yesterday and she was still taking breathing treatments every 4hrs.
When she is well again I will make sure we get some updated info on Madison. The last I heard she was doing better. Of course, still very sick but thankfully having a few good days.
