Caterina, dear friend - please know that I'm praying for you.
I would like to ask that you all pray for those of us involved in this hurricane. I realize it involves A LOT of people. I'm praying for those who have to be out in this working and caring for others. I am starting to get more worried as time goes on.
Caterina--hope and pray everything worked out with the situation with your family. Will continue to pray that things are okay.
Praying for all the people dealing with Sandy. For all the first responders out there trying to get those people to safe, dry locations. For the medical staff, in and out of the hospitals. For all those who lost their homes, praying that they and their families are safe. People can't be replaced, but things can. I agree with Joanne, I am getting worried too.
I have been receiving the prayer requests on my phone and have been praying for all of your needs. I don't think we have heard from Redwood17 or Nikki yet, is everyone out there ok?
I will continue to pray for each of you...even if I am not writing on this page. I love you ladies!

Please continue to pray for the family situation. Trusting and believing God will continue to work in hearts especially on Wednesday as we share a video which is one in a series; so hoping this will continue to be a weekly time to heal.
We will be meeting tonight with our family members who are struggling and ask for prayer that the Lord will intervene.
Also, my heart is sadden when my grandson who is in a Jr. Naval Academy said a man spit on his uniform yesterday. Pray that this incident will turn to a blessing for my grandson as well as this man who most certainly knew not what he was doing.
I was wondering if I could ask you for prayers and positive thoughts? Will have to get scans on the liver tomorrow, Thursday, November 8th and I was wondering if I could ask you for more prayers and positive thoughts that they are benign. Thank you so much, I am forever grateful!!!

Praying right now Adele! God is good.
Prayers for DS tonight please. He is a trucker and heading into some snow in New York. I am trying to give it to God and let it there...trying not to be a worried mother.
Thanks Joan. I texted this morning. He is still in NY, but safe. He was planning to be back last night, but God had other plans to keep him safe...he said 3-4 inches where he is.
After enduring religious persecution in their native England and for twelve years in Holland, the pilgrims sailed for America. They were modest men and women with a great hope and inward zeal. They rested in the providence of God that He was leading them to a land of religious freedom to advance the gospel of the kingdom of Christ.
The voyage of the Mayflower took twice as long as Christopher Columbus' voyage, enduring several wintry storms. After arriving in their new land, they faced disease, famine, bitter cold and many dangers. However, when the Mayflower made its return voyage, none of the pilgrims returned with it.
Their first harvest occurred in the autumn of 1621. Their own seed had barely grown, but the Indians had shown them how to plant corn which yielded a huge harvest. On the first Thanksgiving, they celebrated God's goodness to them with a party of ninety Indians. Their Thanksgiving feast lasted three days and included a festival of sports.
Thanksgiving Proclamation by Abraham Lincoln
"Now, therefore, I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, do hereby appoint and set apart the last Thursday in November next as a day which I desire to be observed by all my fellow-citizens, wherever they may be then, as a day of thanksgiving and praise to Almighty God, the beneficent Creator and Ruler of the Universe. And I do further recommend to my fellow-citizens aforesaid, that on the occasion they do reverently humble themselves in the dust, and from thence offer up penitent and fervent prayers and supplications to the great Disposer of events for a return of the inestimable blessings of peace, union, and harmony throughout the land which it has pleased Him to assign as a dwelling-place for ourselves and for our posterity throughout all generations."
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving... be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4
Dear Friends... my,Teri, was in a motorcycle accident last night and is in ICU at UTMB hospital in Galveston, TX. She has a fractured skull, a small brain bleed, and multiple broken bones. But she was alert and conscious, please keep her your prayers as she needs all she can get.

Mary, extremely sorry to read that Teri had a terrible accident and is in ICU. May the Lord cover her with His powerful healing protection.
Isaiah 58:8
Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
My ds just called me. He called from their garage. he doesn't know where to go or what to do? I am so very sad right now. His wife has asked for a separation. They have my only grandchild. His wife has never liked me or for that matter the rest of our family. So I rarely get to see my dgd as it is. My DS has a physical disability. I have wondered if she could handle this for a lifetime! Please pray!

Oh Joan my heart breaks with this news. Sending much love, hugs and prayers.
Thank you so much for your prayer for healing. We went down today to see her but she was in surgery. Hopefully this will begin her healing. Much appreciation for the prayers.
Amazing answered prayer and more! As I told you many months ago, my great niece, Val, was supposed to have brain surgery and the doctors did several brain procedures before the surgery. After three months of treatment and staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Dallas, the doctors decided not to do the brain surgery on Val at this time. They want to try in 2 years as they want to let the radiation and other procedures do their work instead of doing surgery. That was a huge answered prayer.
THEN, when they went to pay the amount they owed for staying at the Ronald McDonald House (thousands of dollars after three months there), they were told they owed zero. My niece said no they had just received a bill. They were then told that an anonymous person paid their bill. My niece and nephew started crying with joy. They cried part of the way home (9 hours North of Dallas) and my great niece finally asked them to please stop crying - good comic relief. You hear stories like this, but to actually know the people it happened to, and knowing they have been prayed for, makes you know it is the generosity of a good person and the miracle of God's grace! Just wanted to share the wonder and greatness of God!

This is wonderful news. So happy for you. Although I don't post it, every time a prayer request gets posted, I do pray. Just wanted you all to know that.
Lord, I wait for you. In the deep of this winter season come to me. Assure me that your strength is my own: Your courage inspires me to be unafraid. Your light will warm and lead me on. Amen.
