I have a request for a cheer you up/get well card for my dear friend since 4th grade. We were each others maid of honor for each others weddings. We don't get to see each other very much since she moved to LA a year or so after our babies were born 10 days apart. She came up this summer with her boys, we toured Gettysburg together. She had commented that she was severely tired while we trek up the tower and hiked a bit, come to find out she's anemic. After seeing the dr she felt better with the meds but still not quite right. Went back and they did more tests and she had a colonoscopy (we are still under 50) and they found a tumor on her colon. Her surgery isn't til 9/23 and they don't think it's stage 4 since nothing else shows it has progressed but could be stage 3 since her lymph nodes are prominent. She'll be in the hospital for about a week or less and then 2 weeks of bed rest. She just sent one of her kids off to college and the other one is in High School.
It would mean the world to me to send her some get well love.

I will make a card for her today and she'll be in my prayers.
