Both Parent's have Cancer...who is with me?

Dealing with both parent's who have cancer. Father, Kidney cancer and liver cancer for the past 10 years and mom who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 70. How does one continue to be such a rock? Brother is having his own medical issues at the moment, so that leaves me......anyone out there experiencing something Similar? Thank you for letting me vent.

Dearest Tammy, my heart truly goes out to you for surely you are walking on an extremely rough road. Can only pray and ask God to abundantly shower down His love, grace, mercy, comfort, encouragement, goodness, strength, stamina, hope, faith and calming peace over you. May God send people your way who will walk along your side to help share this load.

Have been in tough situations with my parents and family and it is not easy, however, God never leaves anyone alone... He will carry you through with blessings along the way.

Hi Tammy. It has been a couple of months since you posted, and i hope everything is going well for you and your family.
It will be 10yrs in Oct since i lost both my parents. They both became ill at the same time and i became their carer.
I'm a single mum and at the time my 2 boys were 9 & 12.
It was not easy and when i think back, i really don't know how i got through it.
But I did...I had my sister and her husband helping out on the week ends to give me a break, so that was huge thing.
They died within 2 days of each other, and i think that is when i went into 'auto' mode.
We had so much support from friends it was overwhelming.
I'm not a very religious person but I remember a friend telling me that God never gives us more than our shoulders can carry.
Those words still ring in my ears, and i believe it...although there were days when i thought 'what is He thinking???'
