Happy Wednesday all! We have SO much fun in store today! First up, it's our WSC Challenge time, and this week we are all suffering from the Back to School Blues, right? I can HARDLY stop myself from laughing. I am thankful beyond belief to have a few quiet hours during the day, how about you? Deep cleansing breath...
The challenge this week is to create something for a Back to School (preferably) that uses the color blue (mandatory). Since I had a birthday card to create for an upcoming party, I chose to use Best Friends Always Jolinne.
And since I chose a Jolinne set, AND the Greatest Hits post that goes live tomorrow features Jolinne, well, how about a little Jolinne savings! How about a LOT of Jolinne savings? Enter code JOLINNE at checkout today and tomorrow only and receive $5 off ANY Jolinne set!
*Your Jolinne set must be added to your cart
*You must enter the code JOLINNE in the coupon/promo code box to receive the discount
*Retail orders only, valid on September 8th and 9th (2010) only
Need another reason to pick up any of our new releases you may have forgotten? ALL orders over $25 TODAY ONLY will ALSO receive a freebie set in their order! Mention FREEBIE in the comments section and we'll add it in.
Such a cute card Kim! I decided to use the PI - You Make the Grade set for this one. I think my favorite part of the card is the star circle that I created with the fabulous Die-namics Star Border! LOVE IT!
I totally messed up the inside of my card with a big old smudge of ink! GRRRR!!!
Morning! I almost forgot to post my card here, thank goodness for lists...I have them everywhere! Kind of my own 'back to school'! Here is my card for this week! Love this new set!! And the new Die's, seriously Kim, what do you have planned for us next!! They rock!

love your papers, the colors look great together. the stars are very cool.
AND ink smudges are just nature's way of telling you to add an embellishment.
thank heavens for this challenge girls!! I totally kept procrastinating on making something for Nick's new teacher, luckily this week's challenge saved my hiney (okay my buffalo butt) and I made her a little altered notepad, and I mean, who could resist a PI cutie??? eeek!!

Cute card! I'm thinking the smudge means you need a flower on the inside! Oooh, a star!
One of our scrap and arts team members, Jing Jing (not formally announced yet, but has been on the team since July) entered a video contest for Helmar, and would appreciate your help in voting for her.
She is one of the top three contestants, and you can vote once a day and voting ends tomorrow There is nothing to sign up for, just click the radio button next to her name and click on vote (scroll down a bit for the voting area)
She is currently in second place and is not behind by much.
Did my voting!! Samples and everyones' cards are great!!
I AM playing this week... dog gone it!! Now, here is a " blogging for dummies" question-- just started a blog and wanted to add a MFT blog button- went to MFT blog but, can't seem to get the html for the button to add.... am I a "little slow" or what????

Here is what you should do (what I did):
Go to my blog and right click and save on my little MFT button thingy (as a jpeg).
On your blog, add a widget, add picture, and then upload the picture. In the "link" area, just put a link to MFT in there. My Favorite Things...
That will give you an icon that links and you don't have to worry about html.
Sorry I have been MIA. Life has gotten hectic for me since my kids started school. I hear all these moms having MORE time since school started, but I have been having LESS. LOL It's one thing after another. I am WAY behind on e-mails. UGH
Today and yesterday, I made it my mission to STAMP. I used the new VIP set (SO pretty) and the VIP die (oops, did I just give you a hint???), and some other new (and already released) stamps. It was nice. I got quite a bit done.

Hey, girlie-girls! I get a little tired of dumb blonde jokes, so I decided to create a SMART BLONDE for this week's challenge! Much more representative of me and my kind...
I seem to be in a question mode lately... have tried a couple times now to cut denim with the die-namics {I know it can be done} since I have seen cards-- do I need thinner denim??? Snitched a pair of old jeans from my DD.

I asked the SAME THING.... I snitched a pair of old Capri's of Haileys, they were fairly thin too... I have read to use the denim patches, they are lined with something that makes them easier to cut... MINE DONT CUT AT ALL... so I will have to look for the patches!!!! Grrrr LOL
