I probably won't make it for the party. It's my niece's band concert. BUT! I will be shopping as soon as I make it back home.

This is going to be an AMAZING release! I SO want the stitched circles and the new color and natural ink and the knitting PI set... and, and, and!!!!!!! I'm hoping that all will work out for me to be at the party on Tuesday. I might try to finish my poem early in case something comes up... my Mom was signed on to hospice yesterday. We weren't thinking end of life is immediate, but she has started to go in and out of long periods of where she can't function or move or respond and they are coming closer and closer together. I've been helping my Dad with Mom on and off since her stroke a year and a half ago, so he needs me now to help him navigate the new waters of dealing with a hospice team. He hates to lose control of anything so it's hard for him to accept help, or even think he needs it... and he can be really ornery!!! (Must be where I get it!!! ) Plus all my older brothers and sisters are coming in over the next few days to spend some time with her while she still has good moments, so it's going to be a busy week or so here.

Anyway... if I'm not around much, that's where I am. Please save a stitched circle set for me!!!!!!!

The striped background is solid stripes. The plaid background has both solid stripes as well as stripes that have a "woven" look. The plaid background has both groups of stripes and single stripes. The striped background is groups of solid stripes.

Hmmm, if I had to choose just one, I think I'd go with the plaid background. You could make a striped background with the individual solid stripes in the set. And you can make the most awesomely fun plaid patterns with it.

YES on Insulation Pink. In some pictures it looks almost yellow-ish... or maybe apricot-ish? And others it looks like a very light pink. I'd love to see a comparison picture! I wonder if it is on the order of the old Blush Blossom??

I know. It seems to look different in every picture. I think I'm hoping for a very pale pink with a beige tone. (I don't know Blush Blossom since I never got started with the SU colors.) I can't wait to see it!

I'm going to sit down right now and finalize my shopping list for tonight. I want to get a number of the paper and ink colors and still be able to for sure get the stitched circles, and then whatever else I can fit in up to my Christmas present limit. But my list is sooooooo long that I'm having a hard time deciding!! : D

Wouldn't it be helpful to have a su!/mft match? It'd sure make the color challenges easier. I much prefer mft to su! inks.

I get to hang out at the party tonight. Line dance is cancelled because of icy slick roads. SO ready for this freeze to be OVER!

But aren't you GLAD it's slick tonight so you can hang out with us?????

I'm afraid I don't know what the newer SU colors look like at all. I think I stopped being a demo before "in colors" were in.

Ooooo - good for you! I have trouble with bright colors like Razzleberry (That is an UNDERSTATEMENT!) I'm much more comfortable with softer or earth tones. Right now, though, I'm trying to gather colors that will match the dp I'll be using for the next few months. I love the background stamps and I'm starting to pick them up, but I still use a lot of dp!

I've been told that the virus is not on scs, but one of the advertisers. So - Don't click on any of the ads, and it's okay to ignore the malware warning. However, it's a bit of a nuisance fussing with the warning, so I'm bowing out of the party tonight. Have fun, all you mft fans.
