Hi there! You can test any site for potential threats here:
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/sh...=mftstamps.com

There was an issue with the blog last night, although it wasn't a virus and didn't affect the actual site, that may have been what set off the "alarm". It was resolved by midnight EST.

I hope that helps!

I run Norton's and just now -and it's the second time - Norton's has blocked your site from me due to some " Malware Attack". I am not getting that message anywhere else. Thanks!

I tried to access your site through one of your designer's sites -and that is when I got the warning - but if I go directly to your site, it seems to be fine.

Sorry for the hassle!

PM if you would like to know the name of the blog - if that would help.

Same for me. My virus protection keeps blocking me from the MFT site. And this happens when I try to access it directly.

I had problems on the 5th and 6th with AVG blocking a Blackhole Exploit virus. I tried yesterday and today and have not gotten the warning. My sister was having a problem too, but I don't know if she still is.

My computer does the same thing from time to time, sometimes I need to type in the site directly, it has something to do with a link to the store.

If you clear cache and cookies, and still get a warning, let me know. It shouldn't be coming up any longer, and seems to be resolved, but often you see things on your end that don't show up for us, so we value your eyes and ears!

That's what Norton's was blocking me from too - Blackhole Exploit virus - via Karen Motz blog.

I will try again a little later. You have some wonderful goodies, MFT!

I just tried again via SCS banner -and got blocked by Norton's again. Something called Mass Injection something. So sorry for your hassles! I love your store and your stuff!

That would be a Mass-Injection Attack:

A mass-injection attack is a hacking technique that allows a hacker to inject code into a website by gaining access to the servers running the databases behind the sites.

Hopefully you can get it taken care of. Cause I've seen some wonderful Button's that I want to get from your site.

I've had this problem for the last two weeks. Norton says that it's a Mass Injection Website. I was blocked, but then tried again. Luckily I was able to place an order, but when I tried today it won't even come up. Norton's message says that the attacking computer is www mftstamps dot com and that the attacker URL is www mftstamps dot com /blog. I hope this can get fixed soon. I'm having problems with one other online store. I don't get an error message, it just takes at least 2 minutes to go from page to page. It's frustrating, especially since I've become such an internet junkie and far as stamp shopping.

I can't view the website at all because my anti-virus software says there are active threats. I googled MFT to see if I could go access the store that way, instead of clicking on links in blog posts, and their site had a big red shield beside it saying it contained active threats. I tried going to MFT site a week or so ago and couldn't view it then either.

Hi all! I think there was an issue with the link to the blog that was attached to the SCS banner. It should be good to go now, the amazing Team at SCS has fixed it!

Default virus control

There is a way to check if you have the Malware virus.

Go to: DNS Changer Check-Up - Clean

If you get a green screen you are ok. If you get a red screen follow the directions to get rid of the viru. Good Luck.

Yes, I got it and it nearly crashed my system! My husband worked on my computer for two days to get rid of it - it messed up my files.

Hi all!

The issue wasn't with the site per se, but with the blog. Our web Team has found the hidden file, removed it, and are working on changing permissions to block any future attempts.

This should be cleared up later today.

In the meantime, if there's something particular you're looking for, google it by item name. For example, if you google Rolled Daisy Die-namics, the specific product link will pull up (Die-namics Rolled Daisy) and you'll be in the site having bypassed the blog so you won't get a security notice.

I hope that makes sense, but I'll keep popping into this thread to see if I can answer anything else.

I got an e-mail saying there was a reply to "Virus at MFT" here at SCS. I clicked on the link and got a Norton message saying it had blocked an attack. There must still be a problem somewhere.

The problem has been resolved, but, it takes a bit for the links to cycle through google feeds to show up as resolved. I may not be explaining this very well, because I don't totally understand it all.

Here is the google diagnostic info:

Just wanted to chime in and say that I don't have any problems on the website at all (my PayPal account might though!) my wishlist/soon to be cart is brimming! The blog is showing up just fine for me, the only issue being is the menu/navigation bar at the top, nothing is showing up. I am away on vacation, so I don't know if it may be a connection issue? Not a 'puter saavy girl if you couldn't tell

I have been having problems with viruses, spyware & all kinds of blocked threats since I placed an order around 3 weeks ago. I had AVG Free Edition, it did not remove anything, I purchased AVG Internet Security this morning. I've scanned the whole computer and also used malewarebytes and I still have stuff popping up. Not sure what to do next. Don't wanna pay a fortune at Staples, etc to get my laptop fixed, just purchased AVG, kinda defeats the purpose. I tried uploading my card for today's deadline 3x on Wed and it won't load my card. Suggestions anyone????

There was a malware threat on the blog, but not one that infected anything outside of our own site.

We have installed SiteLock and other additional security measures as well to ensure safe shopping!

You might want to consult the SCS forum "site help" so someone can help you upload.
