Hi! I need some help. I can't see the stack up for the dienamics to use with my Vagabond. It's on the website but I can't enlarge it so I can see it. Can someone help me out? Thanks!!

Sure thing.
Multipurpose platform, solo shim, solo thin adapter (have to purchase separately), clear plate, die/paper, clear plate.
For the super intricate dies (snowflakes, flourishes, doilies, Skyline) I add the metal adapter plate inside the clear plates, but NOT facing the "blade" of the dies, you add it to the "flat" side of the die. That just makes it a cut a little cleaner.
Thank you so much!! I bought the solo thin adapter plate when I got the machine. I also have the metal plate for the Die-namics!! I will be a die cutting fool now!! BTW, I LOVE DIE-NAMICS!!!

Oh great, then you have everything you need. I love my Vagabond, and I LOVE my Die-namics also. Have fun and if you have any other questions, I am happy to help.
Hi! I went to MFTstamp website but I couldn't see what I was looking for. I need to know what the stacking order is for using die-namics with the cuttlebug. I do see the stack on the website but it is too small and blurry for me to see. I use to have the order but lost it when I moved. So if you could just let me know the order to place my cuttlebug plates, die and paper I would appreciate it.

Thanks for letting us know, Kristin. I let Kim know about the fuzzy graphic.
With a Cuttlebug and thin dies, cutting is as easy as A, B, C. That was the little "rhyme" I use in my classes.
At the bottom, use the A plate, then the C, then the Die - blade up, paper, and finally the B plate on top.

Thanks so much for answering so quickly. Now I can get to using my die-namics again. I would let Kim know about the graphics. On the old website they were very legible. This is the first time I have looked on your site since the new site has been up and they are very difficult to read. But again thank you so much for answering so quickly. Have a great New Year.
I have only recently bought my very first MFT stamps. The blowing bubbles girl and violin girl. The design team made me need them, they are so cute!
My daughter plays violin and I thought I would make lots of violin girl cards to give to teachers, volunteers with the youth orchestra she's in, etc, etc. BUT.....
I really wanted to paper piece her dress like I've seen many of you talented ladies do and I just can't figure out how to do it! AARRGGHH!
I watched a couple of tutorials and thought I kind of understood and I made a card with the bubble girl that way. The violin one though.... I have tried and can't figure out the steps.
Could someone who's paper pieced this set please tell me how they did it.
Perhaps someone should give these MFT stamps a paper piecing rating.

Please help. I really wanted to make lots of cards with this set.
(Please forgive me if this is not the correct place for this question.)
Thanks

I chose to color her sleeves and collar "white" and just paper-piece the jumper portion of the dress. Since the bow is solid, you can just leave that part of it alone. Just cut along the black lines of the jumper portion and it's not too complicated. You need to be careful around the violin and her hand, but it is doable. Some PIs are easier than others to paper-piece. You should always look at how much overlap there is on the image. Some images have none at all, and those are the easiest. Because her hands need to be in front of her (as well as the violin), this one is a little more difficult.
Jody, I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing the gorgeous cards you make. Your sewing always looks fantastic and I have recently bought myself a sewing machine. I was wondering what sort of thread you use - is it just all purpose thread or is it thicker/specialty thread?
Thanks
Jenny

I do use a special thread and the cheapest machine you can buy.
Here is a post that should answer all your questions, but if you have anything else you have a question about, please ask and I am happy to answer.
Thanks for your reply Jody - I will try some heavy duty thread. I live in Western Australia, and we don't have the Janome sew mini here. We do have the Elna mini, though - which I purchased as it is virtually identical to the Janome - looks like it's made in the same factory. I am really happy with it so far...

Oh good! Happy sewing. I love stitching on cards. It adds so much.
I'm having fun paper piecing on the PI stamps and am always after small prints on patterned paper to use for this. 6 x 6 paper pads certainly seem to be the best choice for finding small patterns but I was wondering if there are any brands of 6 x 6 pads that tend to have more small patterns per pad than others?
Hi, I love MME and Echo Park also has some lovely little designs in their paperpads. Authentique is also one of my favorite brands for small paperpiecing thingies. Always the 6 x6 paperpads, I never use the big 12 x 12 papers
I purchased the Mini Doily Circles this past week. I just want to tell you how amazingly fast your shipping is. I am just blown away over the fact that I had this die set during the same week it was released---that is just incredible. One question about the die set---am I supposed to snip these doilies apart to be four separate doilies or are they supposed to stay adhered together like how they are packaged? Sorry, I'm kind of new to MFT dies and I just don't want to mess it up =) Thanks!! Oh...and the doilies are absolutely darling!
There was a blog post about 6 months or so about how to use the banner dies and extend them out and make them longer....but I can't find it.....anyone know how to do that? Thank you......
Hi Maggie---I think I found the information you were looking for about the Banner Dies. And, in the process, I seem to have found the answer to my own question about snipping the dies apart. It's mentioned in the video =)

Welcome to the world of Die-namics!
It is completely up to you! You can keep them together or split them apart. I break them apart as soon as I receive them, while other DT members like to keep them together. There is no right way!

Hi Jody and fabulous MFT team...I just got the Let's Toast stamp and Die-namics set and I'm SOOOO excited! I have all kinds of ideas....
But I feel a little lacking in imagination about how to use the little miniature bottle tag die - I'd just love to hear any suggestions!!

Are you talking about the miniature version of the wine bottle tag? That is sized to fit around the stem of wine glasses. You can make a set of them, personalize them with the alpha, or use one of the included sentiments/words on it. It slips around the stem. I can't wait to see what you come up with using the new set! I just love your work.
Thank you, Jody, you're very kind....
Slapping hand to forehead and saying "duh"!!!! Of course! They call them wine glass charms or tags here, obviously my brain isn't firing on all cylinders at the moment!
How fun, I love being able to "personalize"! I've been really busy so far this week but that set is sitting there just calling out to me, every time I walk by it!!!
Just lil' ol' me from Australia saying how much I love your dies - they are such fantastic quality and always cut so beautifully and easily Just got my hot little hands on the Fishtail Flags Stax - oo, they are awesome and can't wait to start using them after seeing so many gorgeous projects by the DT!
