I made this for my husband, Tom, to commemorate our first date. It was 1979 and Women's Lib was just reaching adolescence. Guys didn't know whether to open doors for girls. Girls didn't know who should pay for the date. It was Mayhem.

He took me to see Kramer vs. Kramer.

He made me pay for my own soda.

The date was not going well.

At the end of the movie everything changed. Joanna Kramer was crying about not painting clouds on the ceiling for little Billy. I looked over at my darling Tom in the dark, and tears were rolling down his face. I fell madly and crazily in love with his tender soul.

The movie won five Academy Awards, including one each for Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.

I won my Happily Ever After.

I used My Favorite Things Lovey Dovey Sentiments . I hope everyone's having fun with these challenges. I can't wait to hear your Lovey-Dovey Stories!

I definitely had a certain person in mind when I made this card and I know it's going to put a smile on their face when it arrives in their mailbox. The sentiment on the inside reads "I simply adore you". There really is nothing like a little piece of happy mail to make someone smile.

I used Pure Innocence Being Cute is What I Do from MFT and I coloured her with Prismacolour Pencils, following along with the MFT Academy tutorial .

Happy stamping!!

I made this card for my husband, Shanan...

If you had asked me 9 months ago if I could possibly love my husband anymore than I did at that moment, I would have smiled and said no. I would have been wrong.

I met Shanan when I was 13 years old, we've been together since we were 14. We grew up, and grew close. We moved to a new city for University when we were 18 and were engaged at 19. Married at 23, we've been "us" for over half our lives. I had no idea how much my love would deepen for him when our first born son, Jackson, came along.

Watching Shanan become a father, seeing his boundless love for our boy has made me fall in love all over again. I love him as my husband, and now I also get to love him as the father of my son. My heart literally aches when I see them together, it is so precious. I don't think a day has gone by in the last 8 and a half months that I haven't welled up a little when I see them cuddling. I couldn't ask for a better partner, I couldn't be more in love.

My card uses the Instaframe Die-namics and Document It - Off The Chart . More details in my blog post here .

I made valentine's cards and gourmet Jelly bean filled treat cones, for my family. Valentine's day sneaked up on me this year, after a stressful and scary month...it's been a bit of blur. My husband, Chris, very unexpectedly started having abdominal pain and ended up in the hospital for a week. We are SO glad that he is home, feeling better and after much worrying, waiting to see the specialist, he says it was a one-of event...phew! What a huge relief!!!

I made a large 6x6 card for Chris with the Doodle Garden I'm Raptor Around Your Finger Stamp set ...I was inspired to try the "Pointillism" colouring technique featured by Prof. Michele in the recent MFT Academy tutorial ...SO much fun!!! I also made two smaller, A2, CAS-like cards for my children, Hannah and Kieran. I cut the Cone Treat Box Die-namics from acetate and cut MFT Wild Cherry, Bubblegum Pink and Steel Grey felt with the Large and Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics and added Red Hot buttons tied with Hemp cord. I made this card for my sweet niece who is recently a single Mom, juggling full-time work as an underpaid teacher while pursuing her post graduate Education degree. Nothing more than a simple card to let her know that she is in my thoughts. I combined stamps from LJD Embellished Eggs , LJD Homespun Hearts , MFT Finishing Flourishes .

I made this card for a very dear friend. She's going through some personal problems, but has been so helpful to me the last few weeks since I had hand surgery. One of our cats has to have an injection twice weekly and she has come by to give it. Without her, we would have had to take the cat to the vet for the shots, so there'll be a little surprise for her when she opens this card :)

I'm using a sentiment from Polka Dot Greetings for the outside and Framed Greetings for the inside.

I am so happy to be here today, spreading the LOVE. What better way to spread the love than a handmade card.

I made my card for a close friend who is going through a HUGE life struggle. Without going into ALL the ugly, sad, and horrible details of her story (this is a Love Fest afterall) I'll give you a brief version.

She is married, but single, raising four children all on her own while her husband is battling addiction, unemployment, and making bad choices after bad choices. It's a desperate situation, for sure.

She is an amazing woman who has so much hope and faith, that her husband will "get it together", all while keeping her family together and providing for those sweet, innocent kids. I don't know how she does it, but she does and I truly look up to her strength!

So I made this card for her, hoping it will brighten her day and know that in this dark and lonely time, she is not ALONE AND that she is doing the BEST job she knows how . I do think she is Amazing!

The outside is a reminder to "have hope" and the inside of my card tells her how I feel about her. I used the MFT Girly Graphic Tee Die-namics and stamp set along with a few Fishtail Flag Stax Die-namics . The inside sentiment is from Complementary Greetings .

I made this card for my cousin who was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. My cousin and I were soooo close as kids, but haven't seen too much of each other as adults. I am sending this card to let her know I am thinking of her and hoping it brightens her day a bit :)

I made this card for my nephew who a pilot in the Air Force, stationed overseas. He just got engaged! I wish I could give him a hug in person but a handmade card will be the next best thing!

I used MFT's Inspired by Flowers Set #2 Stamp Set for my card.

I made this card, using Pure Innocence Cute-a-tude , for my little Avery. She is my second child and it seems like her big sister Meredith gets all the cards around here. I wanted to make my super sassy girl a card to let her know how much I love being her mom!
