Hi MFT fans and guest designer hopefuls! It's time for the MFT Guest Designer Contest. The winner of this contest will win over $100 in stamp sets AND have the opportunity to play along with the design team for the November release and all the Wednesday Stamp Club Challenges for the next month. MFT always has amazing stamp sets around the corner and getting (and stamping with) them early is a special treat.
This month, Joanne and I are challenging you to get gifty and create a Perfect Package. With the holidays around the corner, we want you to inspire us with your gift giving creativity and package up the item of your choice in perfect stamping style. Or interpret it in your own special way and incorporate the theme into a card or other stamped creation. We're looking for well-executed cards/projects that show good technique and style. Ready for the challenge? Here are the details:
Guest Designer Contest Details:
-Projects must feature some MFT stamps or products, but are not strictly limited to MFT stamps or products.
-The deadline for entries is October 4 at 12pm EST.
-When uploading your entries, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT1011.
-Joanne and I will review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 8:45pm EST on Tuesday, October 4.

Here are some tips:

Thanks and good luck to all of you. We can't wait to see all your amazing entries
Oh POO!!!! I HATE having my stuff packed.. but you can SO bet I'm here next month!!!! Craft room/corner/storage container whatever will TOTALLY BE UNPACKED IN TIME!!!!
Not gonna have time to whip anything up this month, but I'll be sure to check in on the gallery! Sounds like a fun idea! Good luck everyone So excited for one of you lucky ladies to get a big fat ol' MFT package in the mail...seriously- nothing more exciting than opening that sucker up!
Just finished the Wednesday challenge for this week and have been out and bought the paper I need for this challenge ... tomorrow is rainy and cool... hmmm perfect day to play and hopefully be inspired
I'm not eligible to win, but you KNOW I had to play along with this. Making "ensembles" is one of my favorite things to do - love to package up things to go with my cards. Hopefully this will prime the pump for some more of you to play along. Do give it a try - getting that big yellow package from MFT and working with the team ROCKS.
Ummm Hi! I'm brand spankin' new to using Splitcoast and have just tried to upload my photos for the challenge but they don't seem to be coming through. My gallery says that I have photos pending, is this normal? Feeling a little stressed!

Hi Kim! The photos will come through in a bit. Unless you have a paid membership to the SCS Fan Club - one of the perks of which is, automatic uploads, then it takes a bit for the pics to be approved but they will come up! Never fear!
=) Hope this helps you out!
Crafty Hugs!

Wow there are so many amazing entries in this contest!!! I am humbled by the projects that I see in this challenge - way to go ladies!! Good luck - if I was choosing I would have to pick so many of you as the winner for sure!!!!
Wow! The gallery looks fantastic!!! Good luck to the judges (and all the entrants, too)!! I had fun making my project, but remind me to never leave it until Monday again - LOL!!!
THANK YOU for this wonderful opportunity! I have long been a huge fan of MFT dies and clear stamps - I use them all the time - and teach with them as well.
I hope that my project is visible in the photo gallery!
Thanks for the awesome challenge! I had a lot of fun working on this one. I got it submitted just under the wire! You can see my Halloween Emsemble here.
Good luck to all of the fabulous ladies who entered! There are some seriously gorgeous projects!
wish I could've played along. won't be able to go to the party either.
about two weeks ago I applied to adopt a puppy. shortly thereafter my daughter starting complaining about her butt hurting. Last Thursday she was in terrible pain. Saw the doctor on Friday, she confirmed it was the pilonial cyst we all expected (have other family members who have had this) but she shocked us when she said she had to see a surgeon that day. The surgeon aspirated it and said there was no pus so she should go home and keep taking the antibiotics and come back Tuesday. On Saturday we got our doggie who turned out to be a frisky puppy and of course our cat hates. Liddy is still complaining about pain. On Sunday she is crying and saying it's worse than ever to we call surgeon he prescribes pain pills and says to come in Monday. Monday morning when she woke up she covered in goop and the cyst just kept oozing. Surgeon scheduled her for today. We just got home and she is doing OK. He says the incision was very deep and will take about 6 weeks to heal. Guess who gets to change the dressings. So any spare time I have in the next few days will be used for DT duties, then for stalking.
PS - the doggie is adorable and the cat is easing up a bit.
who knows maybe in a day or two, things will calm down.
Thank you ALL so much for entering the contest this month. We'll be announcing the winner (who hasn't been decided yet - EEEK) tonight at the release party! We'll see you all there! Each of you are appreciated and regardless of the outcome, I hope you all will enter again next month. It's an AMAZING prize SO worth playing for. HUGS to all!

Oh Chris, sounds like you've had quite the eventful week! I hope she feels better soon. What a pain in the butt that must be. (my lame attempt at a joke - hope it made you smile at least a LITTLE LOL) I know first-hand how hard a new puppy is. Best of luck through potty training and learning about your new family member. HUGS and see you next month in here.
