Well, hi there and welcome to the October Guest Designer Challenge Thread for My Favorite Things!
Jen del Muro (genie1314) and I are hosting this month's challenge and we can't wait to see how ya'll use color!
Yep, that's right, we've come up with a color challenge for you:
Rasberry, Lime Green and Aqua
Optional color: Yellow
(not neccesarily represented by the colored letters above, but ya'll get the idea.)
There are some details we need to cover as to how this all works and how YOU can get noticed:
1. Projects must feature some MFT stamps or products, but are not strictly limited to MFT stamps or products.
2. The deadline for entries is Tuesday, October 5th at 10 PM EST.
3. When uploading your entries, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT1010.
4. Jen and I will review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 8:45pm EST on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010. The winner will receive a selection of stamps from the next release with a value over $100. You'll also join the MFT Design Team for that month!
5. As winner of the guest designer contest, we ask that you participate in 3 (of 5) teaser days as well as at least 1 (of 2) blog hops.

Well, I just finished mine, and wanted to share it. Good luck to all who entered. I just love these adorable stamps..so fun to play with them! Here is my card, with the stamp that started my love affair with MFT...hehehe.
I just uploaded my card. I have not had the chance to play in a month or two, but this challenge pushed me out of my normal color palette and was really fun! Thanks so much!
oh, wow! I just had 15 minutes of heaven as I went through the gallery! Beautiful creations. There's still time for more, and I can't wait to come back to see what else gets uploaded. Good luck to all!
My favorite color combo too! I just uploaded mine...not sure how to link it to the message post though!
pattie, go to your gallery picture of your card, right click and copy the url code for your photo. Then come back here and just hit paste, into a post. that's the easiest way to do it.
if you want to get fancy, give your card a name in your post, highlight that name, then click on the little earthy button in the tool bar. When that pops up, paste your gallery url that you copied into the box and you'll have a named link within your post that will direct people to your card.
Dang... been having sewing machine and computer probs this week, but, went for these colors???? Actually, love them but, "stretched" a little, out of the box for me, expanding my comfort zone... {okay, that's enough of that!!}. Fun to try!!
I'm new to splitcoast and the whole posting to the forum thing... I tried to get a card to go to the forum. But I am not seeing it in the gallery for the Guest Designer contest. Hmmm...I really want to play...any advice on how to get it to show up there for judging? I did it twice. Maybe it takes a while to get over there? Sigh... perhaps I'll have to wait until next time?
