How does the metal plate work?? says to look at the information but the sandwich is not in the description??
The metal plate is used as a shim. It will go on the side that your blade is NOT. So, in your sandwich, put the metal shim along the FLAT side of your die so it doesn't cut into it. Does that make sense?
is it magnetic? that would really help me out a lot!

Here's what you do. My family did this at my behest two years ago - declare an all hand made Christmas. The ONLY allowed gifts are either handmade or re-gifted. It was the best Christmas we ever had. MFT order - no guilt. Win win.

No it's not magnetic. It's the same metal that the dies are made of I believe (American steel). It really helps machines make a cleaner cut... especially on the more intricate dies. I love it and use it, and I have a Vagabond.
Hello - I'm new to MFT, but excited to place my first order tonight. I was trying to find the prices for the new items being released tonight. Are they listed somewhere ahead of time? I am just trying to finalize my list. TIA!

Love all the stuff this month! I'll have to wait awhile to order cause we just had a house fire a week ago and have to fix all that! Everyone's ok and it's just the outside, but a big bummer on the wallet till our insurance $ comes.
I am so excited it is finally release night! You guys had me with the western themed supplies by Lisa Johnson this month, but this entire release is a GOOD one!!
I can't be a part of the party tonight.....my kids are in a marching band performance right at that time (bummer).....BUT I also can't wait to show off my projects tonight either
Have an awesome night as this months' release is FABULOUS!

Yes to the western stuff. Yes, yes, yes. I'll miss most of tonight's party because I'll be at my line dancing class. I'll make up for it later when I order the lot!

MFT will be giving away FIVE prizes tonight. Each one is a $10 voucher and I will send them out TONIGHT.
The first correct answer wins. Please don't edit your posts once you have submitted an answer. I will quote the winner and congratulate you and offer further instructions for you to claim your prize.

Here are some answers to a couple frequently asked questions:
What time can we shop?
The new releases will be available at 10pm EST.
I keep hearing people talk about the TLC Club. What is that?
Why are some people shopping at nine?
Every customer who has spent $200 or more in the past twelve months automatically qualifies to become a TLC Member. A membership is valid until the end of the year in which it became effective. In January of the next year we look at your balance of the past year. Is it still above $200 you keep your membership for another year. If not, your membership expires.
Your balance however doesn't expire. We keep looking back over a full year's period. Placing a small order might be enough to re-qualify.
When you hit the $500 mark in a year, your club membership can't expire anymore, not in a lifetime! You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!!
TLC Members can shop the new release items at 9pm EST, one full hour earlier than the general public!
