Wonky panels don't bother me, it's the silly strips like this week. I'm just uploading my card now... I'm hoping the "enhance photo" button in iphoto will make me like it better. I did try to follow Inge's prismacolor tutorial today, and that was fun!!

WooHoo!
I'm through
with fifty-two.
I did a couple twice.
One thrice.
That's REALLY reaching for a rhyme which isn't very nice.

FedEx just came with a package! MFT rocks on quick deliveries, fabulous products and awesome service. Okay, now I'm attacking the package...

Bad timing, though. I'd just finished and uploaded this week's card using OLD stuff.

Just not the sketch. I'm hosting for the mini-vsn, and want to get those samples done today. But the WT cork and heart border are just meant to be...

Wasn't her tutorial AMAZING! I need to dust off that huge set of Prismacolor Pencils that I have sitting on the shelf! LOL

I thought that I had all the colors I could need, but she had a few listed today that I didn't have. I really need some more blending stumps. The only one I could still find was only half of one!

I have a full set of blending stumps, my problem is the stumps I have for fingers when it comes to coloring with pencils!

I have made 25 cards but a few of them were using the same sketch twice. As I got more MFT goodies through out the year I was able to play along more often. I love how the sketches always go so well with your stamps and dies. Smart!

I always love seeing your cards, Heather. You make the sketches shine! It would be fun to have lots of MFT to play with. I can't complain, I have more than I did last year, but sometimes I get tired of using the same stamps over and over. I do love seeing new ways to use the dies. It makes my wish list at MFT grow!!

OK, Question for everyone...

How many other challenges do you participate in EVERY WEEK that you aren't on the DT for?

For me it's one other one - the Timeless Tuesday Challenge at Flourishes.

Okay, there's potential for an OCD diagnosis here.

Since April 1012, I've done every Monday CAS and technique challenge, every Tuesday color challenge, every Wednesday sketch challenge (as well as mtf's sketch), every Thursday ways-to-use-it challenge, and every Friday free-for-all, as well as snss's monthly virtual stamp day. I've done verve's viva la verve sketch challenges since October, I think. I've done all last year's vsn challenges. This upcoming vsn will be my fourth as a hostess. I did all the 2012 hycct and dtgd challenges as a first timer.

Now that I've written it out, it seems a little (okay, a LOT) weird. Yes, I DO have another life!

I am on two other weekly challenge teams and bowl two nights a week on league so I try to fit in what I can...This past year I did every month of Jen's Sketch For You To Try and every month of the SCS Christmas Card Challenge. The SFYTT is retiring this year so I am deciding what other to participate in for the year. Maybe I will rest instead and watch tv,lol!

WOW! I'm impressed! So how long do you stamp every day, and how long does it take you to upload everything to SCS???

Great job! So same question, how long do you stamp every day / or week, and how much time do you spend uploading to SCS and your blog? Sometimes I think that takes as long as making the cards!

I'm a freak for CAS and vsn. I can usually finish just about any card in less than an hour, once I've an idea and materials organized. THAT's the challenging stage-- design and organizing materials. Uploading's easy with i photo, and I don't mess with a water mark or a blog.

I'm retired with few family responsibilities, so my time is mine to use as I choose: church, volunteering at school and our local museum, line dancing and exercising, quilting. and paper crafting. Lots of paper crafting.

I have a full time job, M-F, so my stamping time is in the evenings for a couple hours two or three nights a week. If I have a lot of stamping obligations or challenges I want to do, I will spend time on the weekends. My daughter is going to be 24 on Valentines Day, so she has her own life even though she lives with me. My boyfriend works three evening shifts a week so I can hang out in my craft room then. Some weeks I take a break and don't do anything.

How fun! No watermark or blog would definitely make it a quicker upload process. Great job making it all fit with your life!!!

Oh and as for pictures and uploading....I usually complete my card, snap a pic and upload. I use photoshop elements to crop and fix brightness/contrast and upload to SCS. I usually copy what I have posted on SCS to my blog so I don't have to type it again.

It's nice that you have some set aside "play time"!! That can really be refreshing, can't it!

Tell us about you Tricia. How much time do you spend on cards and your picture taking/uploading process.
