January MFT Guest Designer Contest - Win Over $200 in Products!
Hi MFT fans and guest designer hopefuls! It's time for the MFT Guest Designer Contest. The winner of this contest will win over $200 in stamp sets and Die-namics, AND have the opportunity to play along with the design team for the next release and all the Wednesday Stamp Club Challenges for the next month. MFT always has amazing stamp sets around the corner and getting (and stamping with) them early is a special treat.
This month, Joanne and I are challenging you to Paper-Piece. Show us your best work, while incorporating paper-piecing into your project.
Don't know how to paper piece? Check out a mini tutorial HERE.
We're looking for well-executed cards/projects that show good technique and style. Ready for the challenge? Here are the details:

Oh no! My craft room is getting redone and is scattered all over my house! This gives me motivation to get cranking on the painting so I can put it back together and whip something up for the challenge!
OK so I am crossing my fingers my BIG box of new goodies from MFT is waiting for me soon cause there is tons of new stuff I wanna play with Of course I can use the many, many other MFT goodies in my craft room too Thank goodness I am on my school break because all I have done for the last week is clean and organize my craft room. It is all pretty and ready for me to mes it up with this challenge

I made this card to use it in both MFT challenges, although I'm not very sure it is what I want to enter for the Guest Designer one. It is missing something... something more!!!. Well I'll try it, probably I'll make another one later that will convince me more. Here is my card:
Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If you’ve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me :)

Ok... this is what I had in mind for the Guest Designer contest. I entered two cards because I thought that the card I made for the Wednesday Challenge was good for this contest as well, but I really love this dress for the technique. Good luck to everyone the cards are awesome!!!
Hi, just write the keyword MFTGUESTDT0112 in the keyword space at the second part where you upload the card, if you did this it should automatically appear in the gallery. Good luck!!!
In the interest of saving time this year, I've consolidated my old stamping blog - "Simply Stamping" with my cross stitch blog "The Stamper's Stitches". You'll find my card there! The Stamper's Stitches: A Little Stamping...
Oh I loove to paper piece - it is really so relaxing.....now THIS Who's That Girl was a doozy to paper piece but so pretty and so appropriate for tonight!
Here's what I came up with for this month's challenge: a set of paper dolls with paper pieced outfits. Thanks for the challenge....I know my niece will love playing with this
OMG I would be over the moon if I was chosen to be the Guest Designer!!!!
If I had read this sooner I would have entered a few more times! But for now, here's 2 cards I've made:
I was inspired by a fellow crafter to do some 3D paper piecing on my Shreddin' Birthday card. Lots of pics (kind of a mini tutorial) on my blog, check it out!
Oh Wowzers!!! Just peaked at the gallery and there are amazing, amazing cards. A stomach bug is getting the worst of me, so I've been working on the same card on and off now for 3 days. I haven't given up, yet. But, I may have to change it from a happy New Year card to a birthday card since it's taking me so long.
