This month, the challenge is 2011 It's a Banner Year! This theme is wide open! You can use the fabulous Die-namics dies to create a banner, or create a banner on your own. You can use paper with banners on it or you can focus on the new year, 2011! The sky is the limit! Use your imagination and creativity to WOW us!
Guest Designer Contest Details:
* Projects must feature some MFT stamps or products, but are not strictly limited to MFT stamps or products.
* The deadline for entries is Monday, January 3rd at 10pm EST.
* When uploading your entries, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT0111.
* Kerry and I will review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 8:45pm EST on Tuesday, January 4th. The winner will receive a selection of stamps from the next release with a value over $100. You'll also join the MFT Design Team for that month!

what a fun challenge! Banners are HOT right now and of course MFT has some great dies to help make it easy! Looking forward to drooling over the gallery.

Well I can't say this took three hours like KJ, but it was close. I got most of it done and then dropped an ink pad right in the middle of it and had to start again. Ugh! So I was in Staples a month or so ago (I just LOVE Staples!) and saw these little legal pads and had an idea to cover them with cardstock. Well needless to say the holidays came and I never got a chance to do anything with them. Since this is one of my favorite challenges each month, I decided to give the legal pads a try. So here is what I came up with:

I used my "other" MFT stamp set now... I really hope I win or get a LOT of $$ for my birthday (Thursday) because these adorable images are KILLING ME! Nothing says party like a little Tie Dye... Tie Dyed submission

now I have to say, this month, I'm a little upset b/c I'm trying to save money, but DANG IT, I need every single die and PI being released this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is where the image goes. Carefully matted to cover the entire splotch. Trust me on this. But very cute legal pad!!!

very cute. I love PI. It's funny, a friend of mine gave me a pack of those pads in October and I was supposed to make Christmas present out of them, HA! I only made one.
