Introducing the MFT Scrapbooking Challenge!: My Favorite Things

Welcome to our first MFT Scrap Sketch! We are so excited about this new monthly challenge! Whether you are a bit intimidated by scrapbooking or you are a seasoned scrapbooker, this is the challenge for you.

Each month we will provide two sketches, our main sketch and a Project Life version for those of you following Project Life. Simply follow the sketch and upload your creation to SCS using the proper keyword.

There will be a random draw each month from all the participants who have uploaded their Scrap Samples to SCS using the proper keyword. Two winners will be chosen each month and the winners will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winner used MFT stamps, they will receive $ 5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20.

To play along this month, simply upload your creation to SCS using the keyword MFTSCRAP1 or MFTPL1 for a chance to win one of the two monthly prizes (see above). You have until noon Monday, November 19 to play along .

Here's my take using the new LLD Journal It - Top 10 stamp set along with the coordinating Die-namics LLD Insert It - 3 x 4 Insert as well as several other MFT stamp sets and Die-namics. Please see my blog for complete details:

Here is my layout using the fab NEW MFTSCRAP1 scrap sketch. I flipped the sketch around to accommodate my pics. I used the Lisa Johnson Designs Thankful Leaves Stamp Set and coordinating Fall Leaves Die-namics and the Large Leafy Flourish Die-namics as well as several other MFT stamps and Die-namics...all the details can be found on my blog...http://inkingontheedge.blogspot.com/...1fallgirl.html.

I'm really excited that the new MFT Scrap Sketch is going to keep me scrapping on a more regular basis. I've done the main 12x12 for today's challenge, but I'm already planning out my PL version of this sketch too.

Loving all the samples in the gallery ladies! I love seeing how different all the pages are even though they all use the same sketch!

OKay, I will do this! Sounds like fun. I haven't done any crafting in a couple of months until yesterday. I did a card. I need to scrap now! I really like the sketch. So maybe this will inspire me to get going again!

Believe it or not, Sharon, I'm doing this challenge and actually doing a traditional (not digi) page (don't faint!), using a stamp or two as well!

Well, sounds like you are already started. Can't wait to see what you do!

I have no umph! (get up ad go) Between babysitting dgks for 2 weeks and a 2 week cruise, I am done in. I think I have aged 10 years since our Panama cruise just 8 months ago! But I am not complaining! (I know it sounds like it) I had a woderful month of October and woundn't trade it for anything! Just have to recooperate, is all.

The new challenge will be posted at midnight EST on Tuesday, November 19th. There will be a new thread in the MFT forum. I will add a link to the bottom of this thread, directing you to the new thread.

We will post the two winners from this month's challenge in the first post of the new thread.

This was fun - can't wait to see the next one! I won't be able to stay up late enough to see the next sketch but I'm going to check in the morning before work and start planning my layout.
