Default Be Inspired - Create Holiday Home Decor with My Favorite Things

The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a Holiday Home Decor using MFT Stamps and Die-namics.

I created a "Merry Christmas" frame and card using Lisa Johnson's Stitched Stockings, Darling Dots and Stocking Trio Die-namics as well as High Rise Upper and Lower Case Die-namics.

I did some decorative poinsettia flowers for my candle and a matching card that could be used as a hostess gift. Video of how to make these flowers is on my blog.

I created a sweet winter scene on 3 canvases. I got "dirty" with gesso, paint, and lots of die-cuts.

For the challenge this month I created a Book Christmas Tree using an old catalog. I decorated my tree using the Die-namics Poinsettia, Die-namics Jumbo Snowflake and Die-namics Jumbo Christmas Stocking (the holly).

I absolutely loved this challenge! I created a wreath for the front door and a couple of pots for the window shelves that sit on either side of the door. I used the Poinsettia Die-namics and the Medium Fancy Flourish Die-namics .

Loved this challenge!!! I finally altered an Advent calendar that I have had for a couple years with inspiration from Jody's brick fireplace tutorial. I made the tree using a paper cone and the Loopy Bloom Die-namics. Lots more info and pictures on my blog .

This was a FUN one! I created a festive felt banner out of the new Jumbo Christmas Stocking Die-namics and a set of holiday hand towels using the Winter Wreath Die-namics . All the details can be found on my blog .
