Default Be Inspired - Background Building with My Favorite Things

The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to do some background building using our MFT Stamps and Die-namics. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.

Here are mine: I used Finishing Flourishes to create an embossed background for one card and Distressed Diamonds to create an argyle pattern for the second. You can get all the details at my blog.

I created two completely different backgrounds for today's challenge. One is subtle using Darling Dots stamped on kraft, and the other is brighter and more "in your face" using the flowers from Pretty Pocket stamped on white and coloured. More details on my blog .

I had so much fun with this challenge! I created a couple of tags and a Christmas card. For the tags I used stamps from the Document It - December and Darling Dots stamp sets. For the card I used stamps from the PI Thanks Snow Much set and from Darling Dots.
