Default How do you store your Die-Namics?

I just placed an order for several of these Die-Namics. So I was wondering , what you use for storage?

Well I'm no help at all - they're all in a little dollar store bin on my desk. I tried to file them into the same magnetic storage I used for nesties, but I reach for them so often - it seemed useless. So for now they sit front and center - easy to reach for and put back.

I have a bunch of dies from MFT and some similar ones from other companies. I bought a drawer organizer at Target to hold them. Mine has three long, narrow compartments so I can stand the smaller dies up and flip through them and set the longer ones flat in another compartment. I'll try to remember to take a photo later.

A clear CD box from office depot, it came with 50 clear sleeves, so I put one in each sleeve, I cut down the spellbinder cardboard to fit as well so I have the picture.

I kept mine in a big pile right by my Big Shot, but the other day I got super annoyed trying to find what I was looking for, so I went and bought some of those little square wedding favor holder things that have a base and a lid, then I lined them all up in a wooden tray I had. A ton of them fit in there. I put my border dies in the tall ones, and the smaller dies in the lids, which I lined up toward the front of the tray. The dies that didn't fit in either, I stood up between the little boxes. Now, I can see everything and grab what I want. The bad thing? It is FULL NOW. Dang. I guess it's a temporary fix until I can find something else. LOL

I use the magnetic vent covers from the home improvement store. I cut them down to 8 1/2 x 11 and slip each one into a three-ring binder plastic sheet cover so I just flip through the "pages" to find what I want. The vent covers were a little flimsy so I backed each one with an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of chipboard.

KJ, I do the same thing Pollybear does. I can see everything at a glance and I put a little tape tab on each one so they're easy to get off the magnet when I need one. I've been doing this with Nesties for a long time. I actually bought those magnetic adhesive backed sheets (1' x 2') and put them on the sides of bookcases in my stamp room. Love how they're out of the way and easily accessible.

I have all of my dies in a big 3" binder, using the cropper hopper zip-n-flips. i think you can get the zip-n-flips real cheap at Walmart.com: Save money. Live better. the large pockets are 4X6 and there are 8 pockets per sheet, i usually put two spellbinders in each pocket (front and back) so you can really get 16 sets per page. I use the medium zip-n-flips for the smaller dies (MFT, PTI, etc). Hope this helps.

I have crafted a binder for my nesties and moved the MFT Dies out when they started being released like it rains here in Washington... NON STOP!!! LOL and I LOOOVE that.... the dies NOT the rain!!!!

Right now mine are in a cheap $1 drawer from Walmart and sitting out on my desk. I tried putting them away after each use, but forget it. I just kept reaching for them. My few nesties are kept in the computer room with my big shot in the doctor's case to carry the big shot. I think I need more nesties, but after the first of the year probably.

For a while there I just had them sitting in a container on my desk, but after a while this got unmanageable so I had to rethink. Then I remember this photo album that my mum gave me for my 25th anniversary (about 13 years ago LOL) which I had never used ... It is one of those photo albums that will hold about 100 single photos one photo to a page and it has a Silver frame on the front where I can put a photo/picture. Well that was perfect so now it sits on my desk storing my dienamics. Glad I finally found a use for it hehe.

Like the others, I have to have them close by! They are with the other tools at the front of my desk. I have the borders in a glass mug and the others in a little bowl doodad.

Yes, it would have. In fact, I think Kim needs to have a die-namic set that's just leaves, and all different kinds of them too in the set. That would make a lot of peoples lives easier.

I use a binder with plastic folders in which I place my dies on a magnetic mat. Perfect!
Now I only need to place name tags as I still cannot find anything at first glance LOL.

So far I have resisted buying any so I don't have to store them. However, after seeing this thread I decided to take another look at them...shouldn't have! There are a few that caught my eye! LOL!

I am still looking for the perfect way to store them. At the moment they are still all my desk, ready to grasp them to use them on a new creation. Like you've said...I want them all

Heeeej another Dutchy, cool!
I used to store all my dies in cd boxes but that just took up too much space. That binder is nice and compact. If you like I can give you a very cheap address for those magnetic mats.
