February Guest Designer Contest!!: My Favorite Things

Hey everyone, it's Jessie here, and it is Barbara and I's turn to host the guest designer challenge!! This month's challenge is called: A Recipe For Love!!!
Basically, our challenge is to make a card or project fitting these requirements:

Valentine's theme
One Patterned Paper
Two Cardstock Colors(not including neutral base)
Three Embellishments(three types, not just three of one thing)

Here are the need to know details!!
Guest Designer Contest Details:

*Projects must feature some MFT stamps or products, but are not strictly limited to MFT stamps or products.
* The deadline for entries is January 31st at 10pm EST.
* When uploading your entries, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT0211
* Barbara and Iwill review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 8:45pm EST on Tuesday, February 1st
* The winner will receive a selection of stamps from the next release with a value over $100. You'll also join the MFT Design Team for that month!
* As winner of the guest designer contest, we ask that you participate in 3 (of 5) teaser days as well as the blog hop.

Ohhhh, what a fun one! So, are we limited to just one neutral, or could we use one as the base and white/cream to stamp on?

Awesome Samples Jessie and Barbara!!!! I am SO playing.... and will come SQUEEKING IN ... I'm off Sun-Wed this week...which DOES include the RELEASE PARTAY!!!!

From what I understand the "neutral" would be like the Card itself... so if you make a white card base you then have to have 2 OTHER CS's added to the card and 1 DP... make sense?

Seeing as I broke the rule, white in no way shape or form counts as a color of cardstock...nope nope nope!!

Question: can we paper piece with different dp's or not? I'm assuming no but it doesn't hurt to ask.

No, just the one DP...although, I could see using both sides if it was a two sided DP..I mean, that's still only one, right?......

Oh how much fun is this!? I can't wait to play along too, I found my LSS here in Topeka and they carry MFT products! I was able to pick up a few dies so maybe I will use them one this...yay!

Here's mine, I loved this challenge- I technically used one sheet of DP and um....obviously Math is not my strong suite when it comes to counting embellishments- be kind
