Hi MFT fans and guest designer hopefuls! It's time for the MFT Guest Designer Contest. The winner of this contest will win over $100 in stamp sets AND have the opportunity to play along with the design team for the September release and all the Wednesday Stamp Club Challenges for the next month. MFT always has amazing stamp sets around the corner and getting (and stamping with) them early is a special treat.
This month, Joanne and I are challenging you to Embellish Yourself. Create something that can be worn, create an accessory for yourself, perhaps a pin, name tag... the sky is the limit, so feel free to add your own creative flair. We're looking for well-executed cards/projects that show good technique and style. Ready for the challenge? Here are the details:
Guest Designer Contest Details:
-Projects must feature some MFT stamps or products, but are not strictly limited to MFT stamps or products.
-The deadline for entries is August 1 at 10pm EST.
-When uploading your entries, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT0811.
-Joanne and I will review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 8:45pm EST on Tuesday, August 2.
-The winner will receive a selection of stamps from the next release with a value over $100. You'll also join the MFT Design Team for that month!

You can see all the entries for this contest HERE!
Thanks and good luck to all of you. We can't wait to see all your amazing entries.
I picked up some hair clips recently at my local sewing store, and I knew they'd be *perfect* for a Rolled Rose embellishment. I added some leaves from the Upsy Daisy Die-namic.
I've attached the hair clip/embellishment to a card, and cut a tiny slot where you can add the hairclip. It's fully removeable from the project, so that it's now a multi-purpose thing, embellie and gift all in one!
Sadly my camera died tonight .... So I can't play along in the guest designer challenge this month ... hope to see you all again for the next one! Have fun ladies!!

There were MANY gorgeous entries to choose from, but we *have* to choose just one! (I must say, this is a FUN and exciting assignment for us, but it is always SO hard to pick only one!)
We just LOVED the out of the box thinking that this project exemplifies, using products in a new and unexpected (and yes, a seriously cute) way!
