Hi everyone! Jody and I are excited to be your hostesses for the August Guest Designer Challenge!
This month's theme is Floral Flair. We'd like to see how creative you can be with flowers. Use as many as you'd like in any way you'd like.
We can't wait to see what you come up with!
Please note these important details!!
Projects must feature some MFT stamps or products, but are not strictly limited to MFT stamps or products.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday, August 3rd at 10 PM EST.
When uploading your entries, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT0810.
Jody and I will review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 8:45pm EST on Wednesday, August 4th, 2010. The winner will receive a selection of stamps from the next release with a value over $100. You'll also join the MFT Design Team for that month!
As winner of the guest designer contest, we ask that you participate in 3 (of 5) teaser days as well as at least 1 (of 2) blog hops.

such great samples. wish I had some talent with flowers, they stump me. don't believe me, go look at my gallery, I bet you can count the number of flowers I've used on your fingers.

WHAT??? I thought flowers would be EASY for everyone! LOL I have flowers everywhere in my stamp room (and on my cards). LOL Plant a seed, girlie... get flowers on the brain.

Trust me... if I can do it.....
I used blogger . com and you just have to set up a gmail account... it's all free and you just walk through it step by step... mine is NOTHING fancy like other peoples... that takes puter smarts.... I WISH I could but I cant.... a lot of people (I Tried and failed) use cutest blog on the block. com and they have cute things to use for back grounds.... all I got out of it was a blog that changed from red and white polkie dots to a purple back ground, I changed it to plain white... better to see the cards (that's my story and I'm stickin to it!)
Just finished the sneek hop... STILL can't believe I am rubbin' shoulders with the MFT DT this month... DID YOU DO THE HOP???? WOW RIGHT???? *sigh** I SO love MFT!!!!!
If a blog is keepin' ya from doin the challenge, GET A BLOG..... it's TOTALLY worth it!!!!!

YAHOO!!!!! and I had to LOL over the not much of a talker, I'm not a social person per say, but I can post some total blah blah blah on my blog... I just talk and talk and talk... I have a "captive" audience, I just ignore the fact that someone can click off...

OK, this was a tricky one to assemble but I LOVE the way it turned out: 3D Flower card
I cut a 3D flower card on my Silhouette and dressed it up with some flower paper, a PI image and some ribbon, pearls and flowers. I stamped my sentiment directly on the ribbon with some Palette ink.
On the inside I just cut a mat in sage green with a dark pink spellbinders border just like on the front. The card stands up on it's own exactly like you see it with the back of the card being a mirror image flower of the front (e.g. it looks like a flower from the back too!!).
