I'm already out for next year as they have to be done by the week deadline.
Now I'm not as motivated to do them all. but will do as many as I can, the weekly prizes are still awesome!

And I did three of the color palette, just didn't link the sketch one to last weeks post.

I'm struggling with this as well. It's not always easy to get the weekly sketch done. But just have fun.

That's funny about not being as motivated since you missed one. I was the same way when I missed linking one by half an hour last year... I wonder why that is?? I kept going, though, and now I'm on track again for this year.

I got my card linked up on Sunday.

I had a super productive day at Archiver's on Saturday. My friends & I signed up for the last scheduled mania (Feb 15) before they close. I'm going to be so sad to see them close. I have had so much fun there over the last few years.

Gotta get some mojo formulating on this weeks sketch. Had an unexpected day off when my Grandson became sick yesterday. DH left work yesterday and I'm home with him today. He is feeling better today but not quite up to speed. Grandma gets to stamp, Grandson gets to be on the IPAD, lol.

Hi Joyce,

We won't be offering make up posts for people who miss linking during the week that sketches are available. We know that it takes a huge commitment to link each week on time, which is why we like to offer the additional prizes at the end of the year for all the ladies that accomplish completing all 52 weeks.

okay i am very frustrated right now i bought two of the cover up dies and i wanting to use them for the new sketch and neither of them will cut all the way through. I even went so far as to open a new package of plates for my cuttle bug and no luck. I never had dies not work from mft so why are these not working now.

For intricate dies, I fold a piece of card stock and half and use it as a shim, I also run it through my big shot 2-3 times. I find I need to do these more with the La La Land intricate dies. Try it and see if it helps.

Oh that is a bummer. Do you have a magnetic plate? I know sometimes those help out a lot too. I warp the crap out of my acrylic plates using shims, lol. But it does help out with my big shot.

Me too. The metal shim really helps me out with the intricate dies.

I've used the shim with the cuttlebug. However, I prefer big shot.

Are you using the Metal Adapter plate with the Hugs & Kisses? This is one of the dies that we highly recommend it with. This die is so intricate that it needs the extra pressure.

I am hoping to complete every sketch this year. Last year my hubby was deployed and there were weeks when I didn't know what day it was and was late. or just didn't have the mojo to stamp. He is home this year and this is one thing that I challenged myself to do this year.

That must be so hard, not being able to have any solid plans because you never know when you are going to have to move. I am so happy for you that you get to stay home this year. I'll be cheering you on to Club 52 this year.

I spent a snowy Saturday getting crafty and got this week's card done. I've got a couple of non-WSC cards I want to work on tonight.

I am very happy for you that you have your husband home, that is surely a blessing. thank him. I am grateful that there are men and women who will put their love of country before themselves and their families. I wish we had a world where it wasn't necessary.
