It is time for our December Scraplift Challenge! Yay! Are you feeling scrappy? I am! In fact already did mine! In December we are definitly thinking about Christmas or anyway about the holidays! I typed in Christmas in search in SCS Scrapbooking Gallery for our inspiration this month. So here is the gallery with the Layouts for you to choose from over 1000 pages. I found one right away! Your layout doesn't have to be Christmas, just our inspiration is coming from the Christmas gallery. Got it?

My page for December, I loved AnniePanda's page that is shaped like a camera, so here's my take on it although not quite as precise, struggled to get the photos small enough.
I didn't make a Christmas page as I wanted to scrap GS's visit to Poland to see his Babcia and Polish family.

Joyce Ann I also loved your page with the circle cut out, I wasn't sure how I could achieve it so used the camera page, if you have any pointers how you made it I would be grateful.

Jan, so happy you enjoy my Lea France pages. Lea France Stencils Also, if you have time to go on Pinterest, type in the name and lots of pages done with the stencils will show for browsing.
All of the pages I've created with those stencils are done the same way: Lay the stencil over the photo and trace the inside of the sections with a dry erase marker, then cut just to the outside of the drawn line. The photo has to be capable of taking a dry erase and being rubbed off and not permanent of course, other wise one can use a sharp pencil.
By the way, I'm impressed at your "camera" layout! Great work! Thanks for lifting a page of mine.

Joyce Ann thanks for the link, I didn't realise they were stencils or templates, I looked on Pinterest and the pages are amazing, lots of inspiration out there.

Did either of you check out the VSBN challenges? I did one and have another one done, but have had issues getting it loaded. I will try again now.

Well, I started on my LO but I wasn't liking how it was coming out. So before I got too far, I stopped. I saw Sharon mentioned VSBN so off I went and I started on the sketch and I am loving how that is coming out. LOL

I think I will look at other layouts to lift and different pictures to scrap.

Yes, Sharon, I actually finished the Sketch VSBN but haven't taken a photo of it yet. Tonight I finished my scraplift and so it is now ready to photograph tomorrow along with the VSBN if all goes well.

Didn't get much sun and not likely will today, the weatherman said yesterday were are having our mini winter these days. The temps dropped into the high 50's.

Got this one done just under the wire! When you check out my inspiration layout, you may be scratching your head over how it's a scraplift, but I really and truly was inspired by elements of Lela's beautiful layout. Thanks for hosting this challenge this year, Sharon. I've enjoying playing along when I can make it work, and it's been fun checking out the great artwork in the gallery.
