True! I will be 60 on Wednesday and, of course, I can create! As long as my brain and my body let me, I will be creative!

The part that struck a chord with me was giving ourselves permission to do that thing, whatever it may be... and I realize that is an issue with me! Right now my "can't because I'm too ________" is "too unsettled"... so I'm hoping for a smooth transition into a routine that allows me to be free with my art and creativity!

We all need that reminder occasionally, thank you for posting.

And thank you Jennibelle for taking time to make such a heartfelt message.

That darned doubting voice in our heads. "I can't because..." I can fill in the blank in many major and minor ways. I think I'll give myself permission to say, "Thank you for trying to protect me, but I've got this" to the voice. ; )

Oh my! I will be 64 in a few months and I cannot fathom giving up my stamping and card making. It brings me so much joy. Some days I just go and play and try new techniques (and, yes, sometimes they go in the trash). Never stop!

I'm 75 and going strong in stamping and other crafts. I enjoy making cards for friends and family. I can try something different on a small scale and then move along to something else without a lot of bother. Turn off that inner critic and have fun!

I am 66 and I love to create and will continue till I just can't no more. It is my therapy. I love the way people tell me they feel when they get one of my cards. As long as my cards put a smile on someone's face, I'm in.

My mother is 88, and she is still making cards. She doesn't intend to quit any time soon.
