MariLynn here with a mixed media challenge for you. I don't know if you have ever heard the song, "Silver threads among the gold" If you have, like me, you probably have a lot of silver among the gold. If you haven't heard it you should check it out on youtube. The first two lines of the song go "Darling, I am growing old. Silver threads among the gold"

That is the inspiration for my challenge. I want you to use silver or gold thread on your mixed media project. (if you don't have silver or gold thread, you can still play along just add silver or gold somewhere to your project)

I took gold thread and looped it around my hand. I sandwiched it between the base of my card and a small panel on top. That let the little loops just flop free.

As with any mixed media card, to count you will need at least 2 different mediums. Thread is a textile medium, so you will need at least one more.
You could use paint, ink, crayons, spray...etc.

For some reason the thumbnail of my project wanted to load sideways and I can't figure out to change it. Hopefully you can still see the gold threads.
