It's that time..time for another AWESOME Mix-Ability Challenge!!! These challenges are meant to be as easy or difficult, as fun and challenging, and as ROCKING as YOU want them to be!
This week the challenge is to create a collage scene using those scraps of patterned paper you have laying around and use gel medium (like mod podge) to adhere the layers!
Ideas/Tips
1. Paper-piece stamped images.
2. Paper-piece stamped images and then die-cut them with matching dies.
3. Die-cut your paper scraps.
4. Use a Perfect Tears ruler to create the foreground or background with paper scraps.
5. Doodle your own image onto paper scraps and then cut out.
6. Tear different pieces of paper scraps and adhere on top of each other for a fun background.
7. Make sure to cover the patterned paper evenly and completely with the gel medium.
8. Use an old gift card or junk mail credit card to smooth out air bubbles.
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!

This is a card I had designed for the MIX8 challenge that was to use paper tearing. Obviously I was forward thinking, so I am going to add this to the MIX15 challenge too. Hopefully I'll have some time tomorrow to work on another one! So for now, here is: MIX8 Dreams by Scrappycharms - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for the video, which helped me understand the challenge. Sounds like something I can do without much anxiety. Like Dina, I tend to "overthunk" some of these challenges.
Here's a quick one from me.
I hope I did it right - bit pressed for time today, but I was delighted to find an hour up in my craft room. MIX15 Country Scene
Tiffany, so happy you "twisted our arms" "required" LOL us to use get medium. I have been using it in small amounts, a but never for the whole project. It is totally awesome! Dries quickly, no paper warping and easy to use as a color glaze. And I don't know if all have the nice very light fragrance of Claudine Hellmuth's gel medium does but I think it must be filled with creative mojo!...great stuff!
I'm itching to make a scene but I've got my DS's college graduation in the morning so after a LONG day of cleaning and cooking I think I'd better head to bed like a smart mom instead. Lovin' what I've seen in the gallery so far and the video was great!

Of course my Mod Podge had gone off when I opened it, it was so old. Amazing what you can do with enough Tombow Mono-Multi.

I never tried this technique on a card before; I really like it; tried to emulate Tiffany (love her style). I used Faber Castell gel medium, black pen and gelato. I love those gelatos! I thought all the products worked well. Love the technique!
