My craft room is Barely Banana which I carried out into the hall, then at the left turn down the hallway the walls are Summer Sun which carries through into the great room passing a ruby red sitting room and very vanilla kitchen, the great room runs into a mellow moss Florida room.
I chose to leave my room white as it has 14' vaulted ceilings that are a bear to paint. And I didn't want a dark color or anything that would cause color distortions in my crafting.
I also have oak hardwood floors that add a lot of warmth and color to the room without having color on the walls.
So excited...Just finished painting my soon to be craft room in a shade color matched to the Martha Stewart paint color River Mist. It is a very soothing light blue/green shade. Now just waiting for my Scrap N Cube pieces to arrive next week and I can start putting together my craft room.
Between the bookshelves, to the ceiling wall shelves, and storage cubes, I lost sight of the color of the walls a long time ago. ha! ha! Trim is white. Window valences are a shades of brown & hunter green print.

My room is light yellow with white trim, white furniture and green countertops. It's very spa like while your sitting at my crafting desks, but when you turn around your bombarded with sports stuff, I share a large long room with my husband one side is his and the other is mine. His wall is painted a gridiron green. It wasn't until we had it all painted that I realized that we picked Green Bay Packer color, which works cause we are Packer fans. I just focus on my side while I am crafting, it's very clamming if you don't see his side.

I just got finished painting mine. I went with a very light pink, it is called capricious pink. The trim is done in white. I absolutely love my new room color.
Mine is purple...not really purple but in that family. More like Perfect Plum!

I painted my walls light greyish blue. The rooms in this house all have honey color wood trim, so it looks nice together. I wanted it to be unobtrusive.
My craft room is a bright lime green....probably close to SU's Green Galore. I have white and black accents because the room has Mary Engelbreit themed curtains and pillows and lots of black & white checkerboard accents. it's VERY bright and cheery but I'm growing tired of it and I was thinking about painting it a more neutral color like Crumb Cake & Basic Black....but now I'm thinking I should go for a light yellow since it seems to be the most popular response!!!
mine was green tea by Behr then we moved....i have yet to paint the walls...i created so much more in that green tea colored room..it had a spa relaxing feel and i was just so more creative for some reason with that color around me.

My walls are off white, timber floor and red cabinetry.....I must be on my own with this colour but I do love red.
My craftroom pic is on my blog Craftee Owls
I don't know how to post a pic in this forum, can anyone enlighten me please?
Each of the four walls is a different color--Regal Rose, Barely Banana, Green Galore, and a 50% version of Ballet Blue. The trim is white, as is all the furniture and storage cases. It sounds funny but I really love it; I feel happy every time I open the door to go in!
i moved my son out...and i left it like it was....su really rust...with rough cedar trim...not perfect but i like it for now...if i had my choice and was in the mood to redo...i would go with baja breeze and chocolate...

There is no SU! equivalent for the color of my craft room, probably for good reason. It's a fairly bright green, very cheery. I have white storage and a bright yellow, vintage patio set for my table with a coordinating desk for my Cricut center.
mine is HOT PINK. the color was called rasberry bubblegum and that's exactly what it looks like. most of my furnitur in there is either white or black and very goth looking. i love it, lotsa attitude for me to be crafty :P

Craftyland is still the beige it was when we moved into our house 21 years ago. Since taking over the guest room for my crafts a few years ago you can't really see the walls (LOL!!!) because they are covered up by white JetMax cubes, bookcases, brown computer desk, Ikea rails for punches, and Lisa & Becky rail shelves (no longer made) holding stamps, flocking, Flower Soft, shimmer paints, Prima flower tubes, etc., etc. etc.
I'd prefer a soft teal/Caribbean Sea blue with white and bright Caribbean accent colors. And, of course, it needs to be MUCH bigger!!!

It's a bright green, originally I was going for a cricut green but found another color I liked better. I think it's called String Bean by Colorplace (which is Sherwin Williams paint so I'm sure there is a sub for it there).
My room is Chocolate brown..called Farmhouse...French Vanilla cabinets...and Bubble gum pink....LOVE IT>...It was a gift from DH to finish the extra bedroom to my scrap room....
Mine is flower box pink (kind of a magenta) and lime green. All my furniture is custom made by my father in law, as per anything I need/want for in my room..and he always paints it flower box pink with lime green trim! I love it!!

That's the look I want for my room; however, all the samples I've tried (and there have been MANY) have either been too blue or too "concrete" looking. Would you happen to remember the shade of paint you used or do you have pics? I want something that will be soothing, almost spa-like, that will blend into the background.

Mine is a biscotti color with chocolate brown accents and bright white trim. Soft, calming and clean looking. Can't see my desk at the moment, but the walls are pretty.
Sherwin WIlliams' Banana Cream! I love it! It's a cheery yellow without being a screaming yellow. I have white trim and black and red accents in the room. The furniture is a mish-mash of whatever we've found on sale, so it's not the best decorated room in the house, but I love my wall color!
I used light blue and brown. I just love the feel when I come in. It has been very easy to find things to fit in.
My daughter has a craft room and used bright pink. A very different look.
My room was already white paneling (that i hope to paint an egg shell white eventually) and I accent with blue based on the rug I love.
The advice I would give would be to choose either a lamp, or a rug that you love to look at and choose a color from that as your accent. Then choose a neutral for your walls. That way it will be easy to switch out to another accent color or add one whenever you like.
We just renovated mine and painted it bright white. I found being in the basement the colours on the walls really played with the colours of my papers and projects looked "different" when I brought them out into the real light! So I painted my accent wall (the one behind my work table) I bright baby blue! And the shelves and peg board were painted the same. the rest of the furniture is white or wood finished.
I painted mine last weekend. The color is from Benjamin Moore and is called Westminster Gold, but my husband said it looks like butterscotch pudding. Mmmm.
I haven't even moved everything in yet. I hope to get some pics up soon.

Okay so when I was gong to paint I went to Menards and picked my colors out. I asked the guy behind the counter, what do you think of these colors? He told me it looks like a clown threw up. I said well good thing that you aren't coming into this room then. So, my closet is lime green, one wall is bright pink, one wall turquoise blue (more blue),one wall bright purple and the wall with the closet is bright yellow. I love it, it is really bright and makes me want to create every time I walk into it. I wish I could share a picture of it, don't have the stuff to do that but I LOVE my stamp room and so does my dh, I think, I mean he was the one to paint it.
