Default super cheap portable copic storage

Just thought I'd share. I managed to fit over 300 Copics into a $25 Recollections organizer from Michael's. It wasn't even $25; I got it with a 40% off coupon! Here's a pic. I'm going to organize them inside the compartments a bit better. The preliminary test was just to see if they all fit. The item is called Recollections Abigail Organizer. Sure beats the really expensive Copic one. It even has loads of other side pockets which I'm sure can hold a few images to color on the go, as well as all sorts of other accessories.

I don't have as many as you do. So my storage is a little bit different. I'm using plastic boxes with locking lids to store mine in.

Nice!

How much does that weigh fully loaded? It looks amazing!

WOW! That's a lot of Copics. My collection of Copics isn't nearly that large.

Mostly I just use Copics for when I'm coloring skin tone. Otherwise I just use Sharpies or Bic Mark-its.

I'm glad you found a solution that works for you.

I stepped on the scale with and without the bag, and according to that, it's around 11 pounds.

I'm pretty thrilled about this. Already colored an image. It's pretty easy to pick out letters and numbers from each marker like this, when they're in 5 different sections, even if the markers aren't super organized in there.

I have that tote too and love it! At home I keep my Copics in Color Cubbies, but I use the tote when I go away for a weekend or to a friend's house to stamp. I don't have as many Copics as you do, so the middle compartment is perfect for my ATG and some paper, and there's still plenty of room on the sides for clear blocks, inks, scissors, and unmounted stamps.

I've put that bag through its paces in the last year. I fill it with supplies to work on projects at my kids' school - bulletin boards, decorations, event invitations, etc. We call it my "bag of tricks." I always get compliments on it. It's really a nicely made tote and a great price too!
