Default SU embossing folders questions

Hello,

I was wondering how everyone stores their SU embossing folders?
Also, is there a SU embossing folder check list anyone can share?

TIA

I have a small metal "locker basket" in a lovely turquoise color that I keep mine in. I don't have dividers yet, but I keep brands together pretty much.

I haven't seen a checklist for embossing folders, but one could be created pretty easily by checking back catalogs on stampin style

I think I shared a list I created a couple of months ago. Not sure what thread it was in and I'm on my phone at the moment. Maybe I can find it tomorrow.

I gave up on sorting by company about 20 folders ago...mine are in a locker type basket but sorted into Animal, Geometric, Christmas, Other Seasonal, floral and doesn't belong in any of the others. I use my label tool to put a tape with the folder name in the UR corner and make sure the company name is visible and readable. Find I use each folder a bunch more sorted this way than when I kept them strictly by company and ABC with the company.

I actually just bought this today. I have read reviews where people don't care for it but I really like it. I use to have them in a die storage box from Stamp N Storage along with my Stampin Up Framelits but it got to the point where it was too full and I needed room. So while I was at ACMoore today, I found this and bought it with a 50% off coupon. Cost me $10. It holds 40 folders and I was like........."I'm only gonna need one of these binders cause I don't have many embossing folders". Well, I need another one. I only have 3 empty spots left and I have I think 5 new embossing folders coming in on Monday.

I have my folders sorted into categories that make sense to me and store them in the boxes shown in the photo. Today I've been working on an index binder as I have too many folders to remember what I have. Each embossing folder is labeled with a section/number, for example A1, and my next task will be to label the samples in the binder with the corresponding number. I've tried other methods of storage and this is what works best for me.

My current EF's are kept in this bin in the cabinet right above my Big Shot. Currently-in-use framelits & thinlits are next to the EF's in another of these bins. My retired EF's & dies are kept in similar bins, just not in that immediate-reach area at the work area.

Very simple and cheaply! These were from Dollar Tree-$1.00 each. They haven't had them in a long time.

I have a Very simple system. The metal basket I saw at Wal-Mart about 6 mo. Ago for $1.99! I had no idea what I was going to use it for but I had to have it!

The flowered bin came from $ a Tree about six or more years ago. I had another one in a different pattern but it eventually split. I never saw them again.

I like simple and cheap. I repurpose a lot too. I don't like to fuss with storage and organizing too much.

Hahaha! I see I already answered this post quite awhile ago. Now I remember what that other flowered bin looked like!

I keep mine in a cool box made out of fabric, I got from a store called Daiso. Everything (or almost everything) in this store is $1.50. The box is cheap, yes, but I can store my folders by season and it makes me happy. I never have trouble finding what I need and usually find a couple to choose from!

I have a 6 section white cabinet that holds the "fabric drawers". Each drawer is labeled with what is in there by subject. I love that they are stored out of the way, but it takes me about a second to pull the drawer i want and then pull the folder. Am in the process of making an Embossing folder section of my inventory book (all of my stamp images, inks, glitters, etc are here) of what I have with actual samples of the folder impression. So many great ideas here...gotta love SCS!!
