Question Stamp n Storage users (or users of other wood inkpad holders) did you paint yours?

I got one in the mail and want to paint it. Wondering if anyone has any pictures of theirs or tips/tricks. I don't know if I want to go to the trouble of painting all the inside pieces or not.

I thought about painting mine but didn't. I figured once I painted it, I would be stuck sanding and repainting with every chip in the paint. So I just use mine "naked" and I love them! I have the 60 ink pad holder and the lock down punch holder.

I haven't yet, but it's on my (really long & getting longer every day) to-do list. I've been holding off partly for the same reason and partly pure laziness. It works as is, so I'm in no rush. I figure when it annoys me enough that it's one of the few non-white storage pieces in my craft room, I'll suck it up & paint it.

I've also considered painting the inside a contrasting color. (It would be purple in my case.)

I just got 8 paper holders today and have the combo ink pad holder and ribbon racks coming soon. I want them to be black but I am too excited to put my stuff in them to take the time to paint them! So, I will paint them only if DH wants me to (my craft space is half of our family room and aesthetics were DH's stipulation for making it so). If I do paint them, I might just get some high quality spray paint and the job should not take long at all and it will still look nice.

Yeah if/when I get around to painting mine, I'll be using a good quality all-in-one paint/primer spray paint.

I like the idea of a contrasting interior. Right now mine are naked, but I think about painting them a lot. Can't decide on the color and I'm not sure I want white. I would also use a spray paint. I'm not a great painter and would probably paint it too thick and drippy with the regular stuff.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like spray paint is the way to go-that would be quicker anyway. I'll have to shop for colors today. I love the idea of a contrasting color inside! I'll probably do mine aqua on the outside and white inside.
