If she's talking about the ones I think she is, my DG has them in the middle aisle of the store. They are with some pillows and some wicker baskets.
They have slightly larger but flat bases, and the lids are hinged in the back but fold over at the front just a bit. They are sized so that you can make a stack of them in varying sizes and have it look nice, instead of haphazard. They have similar boxes at JoAnn which are a lot more expensive.

Run to DG for the cutest storage boxes!!
The Dollar General has the cutest boxes for storage of your craft stuff!!! They come in a variety of sizes with prices from $3 and up. I chose the boxes with a butterfly and a bird. I have embossing powders, clear acrylic blocks and alcohol ink bottles in one. I have a med one for my dozens of small punches. and stamps. Since these boxes are so cute, no need to hide them away. These will look nice on my craft desk( which I'm still looking for). My county has 3 DG stores. I will check out the other two stores and see if they more cute boxes to match.
