Default PTI ink storage

I've recently purchased some PTI ink pads and will probably purchase more in the not-too-distant future and am wondering how everyone stores them. Weird shape notwithstanding, there's no way to identify the color from the side of the ink pad so I don't really know the best way to store them for easy identification. Thanks for your help!

I don't have the paisleys, just some of the old ones, but I have a label maker that will make 9/64" (very skinny) labels that fit on the edge of the bottom of the case. The old ones happen to fit in my CTMH ink tower.

I use the "Thick" Stufftainers. You can fit 13 of the paisley inks in one "box" and that way I can stack the boxes on my shelf.

Hope this helps!

I've never heard of those. I googled it and they kind of look like the plastic clam shell cases that wooden SU stamps used to come in.

Yes, they are pretty similar, but bigger. You could probably store a 8.5x11" piece of card stock flat in them. I use the SU clamshells to store the ink cubes/spots.

I have a few of the paisleys. I used a 1/4 inch tape in my Dymo to make a label to run along the fat front of the lid, and I just stick them in one of my ink pad storage units that I got from Organize More. Yeah, they're a weird shape, but they fit fine.

I have actually labeled almost all my ink this way. I had to. SU is the only company that puts the color of the ink on the side of the case. Most just have it on the top, which doesn't work when you use a storage unit.
