Question tough time unmounting certain brands

I've been systematically unmounting all of my stamps, but I've run across a few that are a lot harder to get the foam off. The SU stamps come off pretty cleanly, but I have some Inkadoo and other brands (usually with black foam/cushion) that I just can't get separated from the foam. Any suggestions? I've put some in the microwave, but that doesn't seem to help. Thanks in advance!

I'm a die-hard bare nekkid rubber girl, but there are a couple of brands that I've conceded defeat and just let them stay on the foam, because I could NOT get them off without tears and/or swearing and/or broken nails and/or chemicals... Inkadinkaclings and Fiskars/Cloud 9 Design were the worst! If someone reveals the secret here, I may have another go.

I found the same thing when unmounting mine- whatever that black foam is, its a nightmare. In most cases I got rid of it by picking at it. I also used a product called Sticky Stuff Remover, which helped a lot. If you are putting them onto EZ Mount/ Kling-on after, as long as you get the black stuff down to a fairly flat layer, you can re-mount it & it works ok.

Yes, I do a lot of mutter, mutter, mutter -ing with some companies. Some because the foam doesn't come off, some because the foam comes off except for a very thin layer of dry adhesive (that keeps the foam from sticking right) and some because their foam shrinks a LOT and I have to replace it because the rubber is all distorted because the foam shrank.

But there's no easy solution that I've found yet. Rats!

thanks gals! I'm thinking I might use the Goo Gone stuff or try to slice the foam off with a sharp knife. I may just have to leave some stamps mounted, but I fear I'll forget about them!

I used Undo to help soften the adhesive on some of those. It was still tough, but I did not concede and came out victorious. They're unmounted!
