Default Painting Card Boxes for Storage

If you using any cardboard (recycled) boxes in your storage - have you painted them. I'm thinking of spray painting some - but wondering if that would cause any issues.

Thanks,

Crazy seeing this because I just finished painting boxes today, but I used a water-based paint and a roller. They are Staples file boxes, I needed 8, 1 for each shelf in a unit I have in my craft room. To finish i made vinyl labels for the front of each. I was going to try spray paint but happened upon this instead. The money I saved was incredible, about 1.25 a box if you add up the boxes @$10/10 a quart of paint and other supplies I already had on hand.

HTH!

Default Boxes

I have a few boxes I got from Michael's and Walmart. They are the type used to display products. They are higher in the back and the sides slope downward to the front. At Walmart I get them in the dog food area. They have dog treats in them. They have different sizes. I have my unmounted stamps (in the SU cases) they fit side by side and I can just thumb through them. They hold a lot. The stores just give them to you if you ask at check out. I covered my boxes with contact paper. It's cheap & comes in a variety of colors & prints.
