Took 1.5 hours to put together...... but it is beautiful! My room is scattered all over downstairs..... putting it back together is going to take some time! I kept the island but moved it so it has only three accessible sides now. I will post pictures when I get it cleaned up!
Nope.... it actually came out of a public library years ago and has been in storage. It has 15 drawers on each side and a nice area underneath (maybe there were drawers years ago, I don't know) where I have stuff stored. Working like a fool in my room tonight... how did I ever get all this stuff in there?
Pictures coming when I finish!
Thanks! I didn't know if this was a repurpose (which is great) or a specialized furniture find. My stuff is in a pie safe and a chest of drawers so I am all in the repurposing old for new needs!
Sounds really awesome, I love using old repurposed furniture. I bid on an old drafting cabinet once at an estate sale, it had large drawers and looked old, would have loved to have it but, sadly, I didn't win the auction. Would love to see your room when it is done.
My room is done! If you would like to see it and see pictures of my card catalog, they are all in my gallery. I wish I would have made it into an album but I had alot of trouble with the new uploader.... So there are 22 individual pictures. I am pretty proud of how this turned out!
