hi - i am sure someone already has come up with this , but I saw these sheet protectors at walmart yesterday and they work perfectly for this! Plus they are 15 in a pack for 1.97$ !! I wanted to use these in a drawer system for my dies and or a cd box to file them. So - i trimmed off the side with the holes and that left me with a clear pocket. Now if you want you can leave it and put them in a binder to organize your stamps or dies , really anything- they are 5.5 inches x8.5 inches. So i cut mat board or sturdy card stock and glued pieces of magnet tape on it . You can get a huge roll for 4.99 at hobby Lobby or cheaper with coupon ;). Then i just put a die set in each pocket and trim them to fit. I also cut acetate for clear stamps to fit each pocket. I hope this helps someone who like me , loves to be organized but would rather spend $$ on stamps ! [IMG][/IMG]
Wow I've never seen them this size! I've been cutting down the full sheet size protectors but then the opening is on the side. Thanks for posting this!
Denise i got them at walmart . I saw something similar at hobby lobby but they were wider and ridiculously expensive & came 3 to a pkg. these are perfect for what I need
Have checked 2 different WMs in 2 different areas and cannot find them. Were ey with the office supplies? Or maybe just a back to school item?

PinkKitty- The sheet protectors are in the office supply. Mine are usually find in the aisles where the three ring binders are kept in stock.
lisadozknit- I love how your storage turned out. I tried putting my dies in sheet protectors this week and mine turned out to be a huge fail. I forgot to add sturdy mat board, lol. Reading your post made me slam my head on my desk. Thank you for writing all your instructions.
Pink kitty - I found them in the office supply section - wonder if they have them online ?
Lylacfey- so sorry yours were a fail- :( . I hope you can fix them.
Happy thanksgiving !
More expensive than Walmart's, but that is because they are heavyweight. Which I prefer for the way I will be using them.

Robin, I was almost going to order those sheet protectors from Avery - but the shipping cost more than the protectors!!!! I guess I'll check out Staples or Office Depot.
I have Amazon Prime, so I get free 2 day shipping. That's why I look on Amazon first for things like this. I don't know what they would charge to ship. But here's the link if you want to check:
An Office Max or a Staples would probably have them, though.

The shipping is are free when you order $35 of items. I just keep a wish list there of things I need and wait to order. Somehow I never have a problem getting a free shipping rider together!

I hadn't seen that size before either!
If for whatever reason, you can't or don't wish to use Amazon, you can also get completely free shipping at Staples.com on all orders, of any amount (and most items I've bought ship 2-day) simply by signing up for their Rewards program. It is absolutely free, you get 5% back in Rewards points, and you get free shipping on ALL orders. I needed one single pack of binder rings - ordered them earlier this evening, free shipping on that tiny $3 order & they'll be here Tuesday!
I have Prime at Amazon too -- Amazon & Staples are the first places I look for items I need. Unless there's a big price difference at some brick-and-mortar store, it's much easier for me to order online, than having to drive out to the store, use up gas & time, get frustrated in traffic, and hope that the item I need is actually in stock at the store. I've gotten to where I hate going "out" shopping & avoid it when I can! LOL! (Other than thrift shops, now *that* kind of shopping is FUN!)
