Default Help me alter a tin recipe box

I found an ugly tin recipe box and thought I would alter the outside of it. But, now I'm not sure what to do with it - I want to use in my scrapbook for storing some of my Studio G stamps. Help!

I've altered wooden boxes by decoupaging scrapbook paper to them. If you wanted to do that to a metal box, I'd recommend "scuff sanding" first to give the decoupage medium some "tooth" to hang onto. Alternately, you could coat it with paint or gesso first. I recommend Royal Coat over Mod Podge - I like that it dries with no tackiness whatsoever.

There are several ways to search the galleries for ideas - I tried "altered boxes", "altered recipe boxes", "altered metal boxes", and "recipe boxes" and got different results each time, with lots of different approaches to them. Maybe there's something there that will be helpful!
