I haven't seen in the product description if they are or not. They are advertised as being good for rubber stamps. Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace (I'm new and can't post the link) uses them for her SB dies. On her blog she also shows a picture of a case holding stamps.

You might want to see the postings from Becca at Amazing Paper Grace about these DVD cases ... she uses them for storing nestabilities on magnets and she worked with the company to find the perfect sheet of magnet to fit in them. Many crafters are apparently using this site to buy the DVD cases for both stamp and nestability storage.

Clear Storage Solution Blog Candy » Blog Candy » Stamping » Amazing Paper Grace

And the direct link to the company for the cases and the magnet sheets:

Super Jewel Box Disc Cases King Size One / Two Jewel Box / Rubber Stamp Case | TapeOnline.com

Generic Magnetic Sheets Adhesive Faced Magnetic Sheet - 5x7" | TapeOnline.com

Hope this helps! I need to research how the shipping costs are to Canada

I'm storing all my stamps (I de-blocked wooden ones, too) in clear CD cases, too. They're all stored on an old vertical CD storage that used to be in my daughter's bedroom. Really good way to store alot of stamps in a small space!

Default Walmart has clear CD cases

You can order clear cd cases online at Walmart and have them delivered to a store close to you for pick up. I ordered a case of them and it was really cos effective.

I had a problem with cling stamps not sticking to regular DVD cases so I went back to SU! or Amuse cases. The inside surface is different.

My cling stamps for SU won't stick to their own cases. Any idea what might be wrong. I have about a dozen sets of the non-wood mount ones and none of them stick to their own cases.

I find that if I apply the negative piece rubber/foam to the SU! case (the leftover after you remove and mount the stamps to the cling image), my cling mounted stamps remain in place much better. Hope I explained that well enough for you to visual it.

I also use the negative rubber in the DVD case to store my stamps and I love it. It also helps to let me know if I'm missing a stamp.

More Hints:

I trim around the stamp index label before affiixing it to the stamp. This leaves some bare cling foam so the stamp can stick to the block and the DVD case.

If a stamp just won't stick I add a little swipe of Tomobow mono adhesive, let it dry.

Clean the case with alcohol. The cases have residue from the manufacturing process and can prevent the stamp from sticking.

Make sure when you put the label on the stamp you don't stretch the label. When you strech the label the stamp will have a slight curve and it keeps the stamp from sticking.

Yes, that makes sense. I've always thrown that piece away, but I'll know better going forward. Thanks so much!

Stamp by Step is in the process of going out of business, so I don't know if you'll be able to get anything there... Last time I was on their website (two weeks ago) all of the jewel cases were sold out, I believe. I'm kind of sad, because I had just discovered that website. I got one heck of a deal, though - LOTS of stuff for less than half price!

Default Clear Stamp Holders

If you don't mind having the dvd holdy thingy in them you could go to any stores that sell the rental dvds (Grocery stores) and ask them what they do with the clear covers they send movies home with once they purge the movie from their system and sell them off. At the store I work for they simply throw them away and they may love to save some for you.
Just a thought.

I ordered 100 4x6 adhesive magnet sheets on ebay for 48.99 + shipping of 12.95, total $61.94. That's only 61 cents each. I've never ordered from this company before but their shipping is 2-3 days and they give an estimated delivery of the 9th. They have a thinner version that is a little cheaper but I decided to go with the 20mil.
