Yes, by my many posts I am trying to make a plan. LOL
I have dozens of wheels for my rollagraph. Right now they are in shoe boxes. There must be a better way.
I unmounted a lot of my wheels. Takes up way less space and I think they are easier to use flat.
I unmounted mine, too. Just in case I ever want to use them as a wheel again, I saved one plastic wheel and put Tack N Peel on it. Now I only have one wheel, one handle and all of my former wheels are just flat stamps. Works great!
I have to admit that I love the wheel boxes from SU! for storage. I know some that have the kind of storage that you have your stamp pads, ink refills, pens, and wheels that hang and store in, that is on a turntable thingy...
I use a pant hanger. I just cut off the black "felt" that's on the bars to keep the pants from sliding off.
Each storage hanger will hold 28 regular wheels or 16 jumbo wheels.
This is how I have mine too. I love it because they now hang ON my cabinets OUT in the open and I am much more likely to use them than when they were in boxes IN the cabinets.
Before this I had them on a spool holder, but you could not use all the pegs and I did not have enough counter space. Not like this one (this looks better) but you get the idea http://www.createforless.com/June+Ta...utm_medium=cse

I unmounted mine too. I found that a DVD case (like the ones that stampin up sells or I also found another place online that sells them) will hold at least 3 possibly 4 small wheels and 2 jumbo wheels. Just put them on EZ mount and put them in the case and label that puppy and your done. Easy peasy. Finally getting some organization in my craft space lol.
I honestly had never thought of unmounting them. I love the hanger idea too. I have a ton of the Clearsnap Molding mats and I am assuming they aare the same size as the stamps on their wheels.... If they are then I could unmount my wheels and keep one or two of the rollers and i could then use my molding mats on the wheels too. does that make sense? LOL
