Default Paper Punch Storage Question

Anyone know where I can get some sort of shelf that will hold my punches? Or do you have any other ides? I was thinking of a shelf that had 2 or 3 shelves that i could hang on the wall so i can easily find the one I want. Thanks. Tami

If you have the wall space, hang up curtain rods and put the punches on those. I have this in my craft room and I use my punches more now that I can see them. Downside is that there is lots of space to put lots of punches....and expand one's punch collection

I'm always looking for a way to store punches. Seems like when I find a good way suddenly I out grow it! Right now they are all dumped in a basket.

I moved all mine into a closet on a bookcase I bought at Big Lots and put in extra shelves. It has been that way for about 6 months and seems to work for me.

I just ordered this one. I haven't gotten it yet, but it was the cheapest wood one that I could find (I didn't want to use rods as I'm not sure what the final outcome of my room renovation will be)

Should add that I got a value bundle (that's why I "upgraded" to a larger punch holder) as I needed something for all the extra stamp pads that I seem to be collecting! There are several different sizes/prices available

I use the Bygel rails from Ikea. My sweet hubby mounted them on a board and then to the wall. The purpose of the board was to avoid so many holes in the wall. I have two of these boards with 8 of the 21" rails on them. One is even mounted on the back of the door to my room. There are pictures in my gallery if you want to see. He just finished one yesterday for my sweet little sis. This is an awesome way to store the punches. When you see them...you use them.
blessings.

I went with the Bygel rods from IKEA as well. I like Amber's idea of the board. I started trying to put the rods into studs using a stud finder, but couldn't get the nail all the way in. So, for the rest, I bought wall anchors. Those are the ones where you drill a hole in the wall, hammer in the plastic thing, then put up the rod with screws. That means 4 holes in the wall per rod, and I think I have 5 rods. I have a very small room, so the rods are on the wall behind the door as it opens. It's been working out great! You can also buy little baskets that hang from the rail. I use them for the edge punches. This is working much better than when my punches were in drawers of an Iris cart!

Before I got my WorkBox I did this too and it's a FABULOUS way to store things like punches!!! Mine was clear vinyl so I could see everything. Now I'm using it in my pantry, so there are many things you can use it for.

I have the Kroken rails from Ikea. I just wanted to add a little contrast to my walls and the black rails added just a little "pop". Actually I was just at Ikea today and bought 2 more rails for my ever-expanding punch collection.

Here's a pic...

Next project...painting my room. Just have to decide what colour to paint the "Creative Cubbyhole". ;)

I got my father to make one for me too and I love it. I totally agree that when you can look up and see what you have you are more likely to use it. Here is a pic:
