Ok I have SO many Cuttlebug embossing folders and I did the search on storage...
I am not looking to get a 3 ring binder.. I've not seen, perhaps I've not looked in the right places I should say, something that would "hold" them in there ..
Anyone have any other ideas than binders?? (and if you have a pic show me.. I'm a visual sort)
Well, I stack mine in alphabetical order on a shelf. Works GREAT for me. I look in my reference binder, see what I want to use, and then grab it off the shelf. I can expand my collection without having to worry as I have lots of room on the shelf! You can see details in these posts here:
I found an old wooden index card box which is just the right size so I store them in that and works well. Just recently printed out labels to put on the top of each one so I could find which one I wanted without having to sort through all of them.

I use the same system for my CB embossing folders that I use for my Nesties and LOVE it..............you can see it here. I also use my Brother PT Labeler to put the names on the folders.

I have this same box but it is pink - on sale at Michael's for $6.99. I love it!
I have a blue photo holder thingy from Creative Memories that my CM lady gave me. It holds 4x6 photos...kinda reminds me of a coupon organizer or something like that. It was free and I had like 2 laying around so I just store my CB and SU embossing folders in one of those and use the other one to store my nesties in.
I cut out a file folder the size of each a2 folder and emboss the front of the folder with the design of the folder. I store these in one of the JetMax cubes that has 4 drawers. I love it. The only problem is that now the Cricut Companion folder have both A2 & 5x7.. and the 5x7 folders fit the opposite way in the drawer, but wasted space in the back now. What to do with those sets??

I keep all my CB folders (A2 & 5x7) in the JetMax cube that has two drawers & two shelves. These drawers are taller than the 4-drawers, so the 5x7s can stand vertically.
Here's a pic of my set-up. The cube I'm talking is the lower left cube. The trays on the shelves hold my border CB folders and the mini folders.
I also use the storage solution that Pam (yorkiemomma) uses. So far so good! I used my label maker and printed the name of each folder and put it on the emb. folder.
I also purchased another box to put my nesties in.
Good luck in finding the right storage solution that works for you!

My store only recently got that cube configuration in so I don't have any of those...yet! TFS!
I've got all of my CB folders in a black wire mesh CD holder from Staples and love it. The holder is basically just an open top box so it holds lots and lots of them.
I use the same boxes that Yorkiemomma uses - I just started this and I am just now in the process of labelling all my folders - hmmmm wish I would have done this earlier (when I remembered the name of all of them - ha ha!

Hi Kirsty, can you tell me how to place a thumbnail pic attachment with a post please? I have asked this question a number of times in various categories on SCS but nobody has enlightened me yet?
Thanks in advance,
Elaine
I found 2 (at the time of this picture...now i found 2 more!) Ikea cd holders at some yard sales i've been too this year. I didn't need any type of portable storage, and discovered they work great for my folders and my die cuts that I placed in CD and DVD cases:
I did the 3 ring binder route and used a 4x6 photo sheet holder. Works great for storage. I also used a picture slides page to hold my sizzlets. works awesome!
I recently picked up an accessory binder from creative memories at a yard sale. The pockets are perfect for cuttlebug folders, they have a little flap on the top to hold things in and there are various sizes to hold the different sized folders. You can check them out on eBay...unfortunately they are not available from CM any more. If I get a chance I'll try to post some pictures this weekend. Also, the binder is zippered so a drop doesn't spew folders and sheets all over the place. The block size holds 8 folders per sheet.
I've been working on my CB folders and did an index for them attached is a few pages of what I have(limit of size doncha know) anyways I used this idea here I found them onsale at Walmart for 5 bux. And I used a Sharpie to write the name of them so I know what they are.
The 4 little folders fit perfectly in a 3x5 index card holder and I wrote the name on them and numbered 1 of 4 .. 2 of 4.. etc..
the combo folders & dies I have those in their own box and again wrote the names on both the folder as well as the die
