HI Rita, thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers and wonderful cards you are sending Regina. She is in rehab now. Her incision is still open with a wound vac to keep it draining. We pray that as it is cleaned every few days that it does not get infected. They had to break her leg in 3 places for the hip surgery. She does not have a cast on her leg. So, the earliest she will be able to put weight on that side is Feb. They are trying to do physical therapy on her good leg and do some on her bad leg but the pain is too severe for her now. She is getting bed sores too so if it's not one thing, it's another. She has a very long road ahead of her. Thanks for all the wonderful cards I've heard about!!! She has a bulletin board in her room that she puts them all on and is sure to show them off whenever anyone comes in!!!

My adopted mom received your card. Can't wait to see it when I see my adopted mom next. Thanks SO very much for blessing her with such a sweet creation! She called me today and said one of the cards was from someone from Kansas City, but she can't tell what the state is. Is that you? She has a note she wants to send you. If it is you, could you please tell me which state you are in and your zip code and I will get that info to her. She LOVES to write letters and receive them. " )
