It has been some time since we've had any contact (I loaned you an SU catalogue in 2006 when I got mine early and we met in person at a Copic certification class), but this has to do with your dog-fostering more than your craft genius :)
We have friends who moved over from England a few years back with their rescue dog. Sadly, he went to the Rainbow Bridge last week, and my friend's hubby (retired) is really feeling the loss during the day when his wife and stepdaughter are out. They have filled out applications at many of the rescue foundations & at the Calgary Humane Society, but the process here isn't as quick as it is in England. They see the necessity to ensure the dogs are ready to be moved & that the adoptive families are suitable, but are equally frustrated that there are dogs out there needing good homes & knowing they have plenty of love to offer.
Is there any advice you can give?
